PENANJONG GARRISON, Tuesday, 7th May 2024 – The closing ceremony of the
Combat Engineer Reconnaissance Sergeant Course Session 2024 took place in the
Lecture Room, School of Military Engineer, Engineer Regiment Royal Brunei Land
Force (SOME ER RBLF). A total of 22 participants successfully completed the course
comprising of personnel from all squadrons of ER RBLF. The 10-week course
commenced from 4th March 2024 until 7th May 2024 and was conducted by the Combat
Engineer Basic Skills Wing, SOME ER RBLF.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji
Hussin, Commanding Officer of ER RBLF. Also present at the ceremony were the
officers and other ranks of ER RBLF.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by a course
review from Captain Delson bin Jumat, Acting Training Officer of SOME ER RBLF. The
ceremony proceeded with the presentation of certificates to the course participants
and the presentation of awards by the Guest of Honour.
The Best Theory Award was awarded to Corporal Wali Taufiq bin Haji Abdul Amit from

rd Squadron (Construction) ER RBLF. Meanwhile, Corporal Pengiran Azmi bin
Pengiran Manaf from 1st Squadron (Field) ER RBLF emerged as the Best Briefing and
Best Overall Student. The ceremony concluded with a speech and official closing of
the course by the Guest of Honour, Closing Doa and a group photo session.
This course is a mandatory course for all personnel of the ER RBLF and Assault
Pioneers Platoon of the Infantry Battalions of RBLF who carry the rank of Corporal.
The course’s main objective was to prepare and increase the skills of the course
participants to become a calibre Combat Engineer Reconnaissance Sergeant by
exposing them to systematic ways of conducting reconnaissance and producing
reconnaissance reports as well as proforma forms.

SESI 2024
PENANJONG GARISON, Selasa, 7 Mei 2024 – Sekolah Jurutera Tentera Rejimen
Jurutera Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SJT RJ TDDB) telah mengendalikan Majlis
Penutup Kursus Sarjan Tinjau Jurutera Tempur Sesi 2024 bertempat di Bilik Kuliah,
SJT RJ TDDB. Seramai 22 peserta telah berjaya menamatkan kursus tersebut yang
terdiri daripada anggota-anggota dari semua Skuadron RJ TDDB. Kursus ini telah
berlangsung selama 10 minggu bermula daripada 4 Mac 2024 hingga 7 Mei 2024
yang dikendalikan oleh Cawangan Kemahiran Asas Jurutera Tempur, RJ TDDB.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat bagi menyampaikan sijil-sijil penutup kursus tersebut
ialah Leftenan Kolonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Pegawai Pemerintah RJ
TDDB. Turut hadir pada majlis penutup kursus tersebut adalah pegawai-pegawai dan
lain-lain peringkat RJ TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah diikuti dengan ulasan kursus
daripada Kapten Delson bin Jumat selaku Pemangku Pegawai Latihan SJT RJ TDDB.
Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil kepada semua peserta kursus dan
penyampaian anugerah penuntut terbaik yang disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat.
Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Teori bagi kursus tersebut disandang oleh Koperal Wali
Taufiq bin Haji Abdul Amit daripada Skuadron Ketiga (Pembinaan) RJ TDDB.
Manakala, Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Taklimat dan Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan
dianugerahkan kepada Koperal Pengiran Azmi bin Pengiran Manaf daripada
Skuadron Pertama (Medan) RJ TDDB. Majlis diakhiri dengan ucapan penutup kursus
oleh Tetamu Kehormat Majlis, bacaan Doa Penutup dan sesi bergambar ramai.
Kursus ini adalah salah satu kursus mandatori yang wajib dihadiri khasnya bagi
anggota RJ TDDB dan Platun Rintis Serang Batalion Infantri TDDB yang berpangkat
Koperal. Objektif utama kursus ini adalah untuk mempersiapkan dan meningkatkan
kemahiran peserta kursus untuk menjadi Sarjan Tinjau Jurutera Tempur yang
berkaliber melalui pendedahan kepada tatacara sistematik melaksanakan tinjauan
jurutera dan menghasilkan laporan tinjauan dan borang proforma.
