PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 28 March 2022 - The closing ceremony for the Platoon Commander Course series 1/2022 and 2IC Section Commander Course series 1/2022 took place today at the School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. The course was an 11-week course that took place from 10 January 2022 until 28 March 2022.
Present as the guest of honour was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammad Airul Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Commanding Officer SOI RBLF. Also present were officers and personnel of RBLF.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the speech from Captain Zulwafi bin Hj Suhaili, Head of Department, Other Ranks Development Wings, SOI RBLF. The event continued with the presentation of certificates by the guest of honour to all course members as well as the presentation of awards.
A total of 26 RBLF officers attended the Platoon Commander Course series 1/2022. The Best Student award was awarded to Lieutenant Abdul Hafiz @ Silmi bin Hj Ali Hassan from RBLF Headquarters and the Best Theory award was awarded by Lieutenant ZairulHafiy bin Hj Mat Zaini from First Battalion RBLF.
Meanwhile, a total of 30 RBLF personnel participated in the 2IC Section Commander Course series 1/2022. The Overall Best Student was awarded to Lance Corporal Abdul Arif bin Ahad from Second Battalion RBLF and the Best Theory award session was awarded to Private Mira bin Md Juffri from Third Battalion RBLF. The ceremony continued with the official closing speech by the guest of honour and concluded with the recitation of Closing Doa and a group photo.
The objectives of these courses are to instil officers and personnel with high confidence in decision-making as well as good practical command and control in executing missions for all spectrums of operations.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS TEMPUR KETUA PLATUN SIRI 1/2022 DAN KURSUS PENOLONG KETUA SEKSYEN SIRI

PENANJONG GARRISON, Isnin, 28 Mac 2022 – Majlis Penutup Kursus bagi Kursus Tempur Ketua Platun Siri 1/2022 dan Penolong Ketua Seksyen Siri 1/2022 telah diadakan pada hari ini bertempat di Sekolah Infantri Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SI TDDB), Penanjong Garison. Kursus ini telah diadakan selama 11 minggu bermula dari 10 Januari 2022 hingga 28 Mac 2022.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohammad Airul Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Pegawai Pemerintah SI TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah diikuti dengan ucapan alu-aluan daripada Kapten Zulwafi bin Hj Suhaili, Ketua Cawangan Perkembangan Lain-lain Peringkat, SI TDDB. Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil oleh tetamu kehormat kepada semua peserta kursus dan penyampaian anugerah.
Seramai 26 orang pegawai TDDB telah menghadiri Kursus Ketua Platun siri 1/2022. Anugerah Pelajar Terbaik Keseluruhan disandang oleh Leftenan Abdul Hafiz @ Silmi bin Hj Ali Hassan dari Markas TDDB dan Anugerah Teori Terbaik disandang oleh Leftenan ZairulHafiy bin Hj Mat Zaini dari Batalion Pertama TDDB.
Manakala, seramai 30 anggota TDDB telah menyertai Kursus Penolong Ketua Seksyen siri 1/2022. Anugerah Pelajar Terbaik Keseluruhan dianugerahkan kepada Las Koperal Abdul Arif bin Ahad dari Batalion Kedua TDDB dan Anugerah Teori Terbaik telah dianugerahkan kepada Soldadu Mira bin Md Juffri dari Batalion Ketiga TDDB. Majlis diteruskan dengan penutupan rasmi oleh tetamu kehormat dan diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Penutup dan bergambar ramai.
Objectif kursus-kursus tersebut bertujuan untuk melahirkan pegawai dan anggota yang kompeten dan berkeyakinan tinggi dalam membuat keputusan yang tegas. Selain itu, ianya juga dapat mempraktikan kawalan dan perintah dengan yakin dalam perlaksanaan misi dalam semua spektrum operasi.
