THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Thursday, 27th November 2025 – The 33rd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) concluded in a closing ceremony held at the SAFTI Military Institute, Republic of Singapore. Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), attended the event along with the other ASEAN Chiefs of Army.
Officiating the ceremony was Major General Cai Dexian, Chief of Singapore Army as the Chairman of the 33rd AARM. Among the event highlights were the novelty shoot participated by the ASEAN Chiefs of Army and representatives, the team events, the prize presentation, as well as closing remarks by the Chairman. The RBLF Shooting Contingent secured 1 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals in Match 1 competition, and 5 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals in the team relay categories.
A total of 444 participants took part in the competition, including 44 personnel from the RBLF. Bannering the theme “Building Regional Cooperation in Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief”, the 33rd AARM highlights the importance of strong cooperation and a spirit of healthy competition among ASEAN armies, while fostering goodwill and enhancing mutual understanding among participating countries. Malaysia will host the 34th AARM in 2026.
PERLAWANAN MENEMBAK TENTERA DARAT ASEAN KE-33 BERAKHIR
REPUBLIK SINGAPURA, Khamis, 27 November 2025 – Perlawanan Menembak Tentera Darat ASEAN ke-33 (33rd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet, AARM) telah berakhir dengan acara penutup yang berlangsung di SAFTI Military Institute, Republik Singapura. Brigedier Jeneral Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), telah menghadiri acara tersebut bersama Ketua-ketua Tentera Darat ASEAN yang lain.
Merasmikan acara penutup ialah Mejar Jeneral Cai Dexian, Panglima Tentera Darat Singapura, selaku Pengerusi AARM ke-33. Antara acara yang dilaksanakan termasuk acara menembak novelti yang disertai oleh para Ketua Tentera Darat ASEAN dan wakil-wakil, acara berpasukan, penyampaian hadiah serta ucapan penutup oleh pengerusi. Kontinjen Penembak TDDB telah meraih 1 pingat emas, 2 pingat perak dan 3 pingat gangsa dalam pertandingan Acara 1, serta 5 pingat emas, 5 pingat perak dan 5 pingat gangsa dalam kategori larian berpasukan.
Seramai 444 peserta telah mengambil bahagian dalam pertandingan tersebut termasuk 44 anggota dari TDDB. Dengan tema “Membina Kerjasama Serantau dalam Bantuan Kemanusiaan dan Pengurusan Bencana”, AARM ke-33 menekankan kepentingan kerjasama kukuh dan semangat berdaya saing antara tentera darat ASEAN, di samping memupuk hubungan baik dan meningkatkan persefahaman antara negara peserta. Malaysia akan menjadi tuan rumah bagi AARM ke-34 pada tahun 2026.
