BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 21 August 2020 – Special religious talk was held in conjunction of the new Islamic year 1442 Hijrah for the personnel of Berakas Garrison at the Surau Al-Fai’zun.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Azman bin Haji Bangkol, Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF). Also present were Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of the RBLF. The event began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and the recitation of Tedarus Al-Quran along with its translation led by Mohd Asdey Hazabullah bin Haji Md Zain, Imam of Surau Al-Fai’zun.
The event continued with a Special Talk delivered by Ustaz Hamzah bin Awang Haji Jali from University Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Research and Publication Center entitled: “Generasi Berwawasan, Beramal dan Berakhlak Memacu Pembangunan Umat” and the presentation of souvenirs. The event concluded with Sunat Dhuha prayers, recitation of Doa “Peliharakan Sultan of Brunei Darussalam” and recitation of Selawat, Surah Al-Asr and Tasbih Kaffarah.

Ogos 2020 – Majlis Ceramah Khas sempena Sambutan Awal Tahun 1442 Hijrah
peringkat Berakas Garison telah diadakan bertempat di Surau Al-Fai’zun.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat
ialah Yang Mulia Kolonel Azman bin Haji Bangkol, Timbalan Pemerintah Tentera
Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB). Turut hadir ialah Pegawai-Pegawai Kanan,
Pegawai-Pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB. Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Sayyidul
Istighfar dan bacaan Tedarus Al-Quran berserta terjemahannya yang dipimpin oleh
Yang Mulia Mohd Asdey Hazabullah bin Haji Md Zain, Imam Surau Al-Fai’zun.
Majlis diteruskan dengan
Ceramah Khas yang disampaikan oleh Yang Mulia Ustaz Hamzah bin Awang Haji Jali
dari Pusat Penyelidikan dan Penerbitan Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA)
yang bertajuk: “Generasi Berwawasan, Beramal dan Berakhlak Memacu Pembangunan Umat”
dan penyampaian cenderahati. Majlis diakhiri dengan sembahyang Sunat Dhuha,
bacaan Doa “Peliharakan Sultan Negara Brunei Darussalam” dan diikuti dengan
bacaan Selawat, Surah Al-Asr dan Tasbih Kaffarah.
