TUTONG CAMP, Thursday 04 May 2023 – The Regiment Sergeant Major (RSM) Handover Ceremony of Second Battalion Royal Brunei Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) took place today at the Parade Square, Tutong Camp.
Present as the Guest of Honour at the ceremony was Warrant Officer One Kifley bin Haji Johari, the former RSM of 2Bn RBLF, now the Land Force Sergeant Major (LFSM) and Warrant Officer One Mohammad Rezal bin Haji Ismail, the new RSM of 2Bn RBLF. Also present were Drill Sergeant Major (DSM) of 2Bn RBLF, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and personnel of 2Bn RBLF.
The ceremony commenced with the Guard of Honour entering the parade square led by Warrant Officer Two Haji Asmadei bin Haji Zolkarinin, DSM of 2Bn RBLF, followed by the inspection of the parade by the LFSM, his speech and signing of the Handover Certificate between the former RSM and the new RSM. The ceremony continued with the inspection of the parade by Warrant Officer One Mohammad Rezal bin Haji Ismail, the newly appointed RSM of 2Bn RBLF. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat led by Sergeant Mohammad Hafiy bin Ariffin.
In his speech as the RSM of 2Bn RBLF, Warrant Officer One Mohammad Rezal bin Haji Ismail reminded all personnel to maintain and improve spirituality based on Iman and Taqwa, and advised to always uphold discipline because it is the pillar of the military career. Preparedness is also one of the things raised in his speech for it must be maintained at a good level and always be ready when tasked. In addition, he highlighted everyone to instill harmony in the working environment to foster the brotherhood spirit or Coup d’Esprit, at all levels.
UPACARA PERBARISAN SERAH TERIMA TUGAS SARJAN MEJAR REJIMEN BATALION KEDUA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, Khamis 04 Mei 2023 – Upacara Perbarisan Serah Terima Tugas Sarjan Mejar Rejimen (SMR) Batalion Kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (2Bn TDDB) telah berlangsung pada hari ini bertempat di Padang Kawad, Perkhemahan Tutong.
Hadir pada majlis tersebut ialah Pegawai Waran Satu Kifley bin Haji Johari, mantan SMR 2Bn TDDB, yang telah menjawat Sarjan Mejar Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SM TDDB) dan Pegawai Waran Satu Mohammad Rezal bin Haji Ismail, SMR 2Bn TDDB yang baru. Turut hadir ialah Sarjan Mejar Kawad (SMK) 2Bn TDDB, Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah (PTB-PTB) Kanan dan anggota-anggota 2Bn TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan Kawalan Kehormatan memasuki padang kawad yang diketuai oleh Pegawai Waran Dua Haji Asmadei bin Haji Zolkarinin, SMK 2Bn TDDB dan diteruskan dengan pemeriksaan perbarisan oleh SM TDDB. Acara diteruskan dengan ucapan daripada SM TDDB diikuti dengan sesi menandatangani Sijil Serah Terima Tugas SMR 2Bn TDDB diantara mantan SMR dengan SMR yang baru. Majlis diteruskan dengan pemeriksaan perbarisan oleh Pegawai Waran Satu Mohammad Rezal bin Hj Ismail, selaku SMR 2Bn TDDB yang baru. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat yang dipimpin oleh Sarjan Md Hafiy bin Ariffin.
Dalam ucapan beliau selaku RSM 2Bn TDDB baru, Pegawai Waran Satu Mohammad Rezal bin Haji Ismail mengingatkan kepada semua anggota untuk mengekalkan serta meningkatkan kerohanian yang berteraskan Iman dan Taqwa dan menasihatkan untuk sentiasa menjaga disiplin kerana ia merupakan tonggak kerjaya dalam ketenteraan. Kesiapsiagaan juga antara perkara yang dibangkitkan dalam ucapan beliau supaya dapat dikekalkan pada tahap yang baik dan sentiasa bersedia apabila ditugaskan atau diatur gerak. Beliau juga menyentuh perihal keharmonian dalam suasana pekerjaan iaitu memupuk semangat persaudaraan atau Coup d’Esprit, kepada semua lapisan kepimpinan.
