PENANJONG, Friday, 13 October 2023 – The School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF) conducted a beach cleaning campaign in conjunction of SOI RBLF’s 14th Anniversary. The activity was held at the vicinity of Penanjong Beach.
The cleaning campaign was led by the Commanding Officer of SOI RBLF, Major Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli along with a total of 106 permanent staff and course participants.
The clean-up efforts focused on the beach itself and covered over two kilometres along the coastline facing the South-China-Sea. Recent heavy rainfalls were believed to have caused unpleasant litter to be washed along the shoreline. The ongoing campaign aims to raise community awareness of the need for joint action to remove litter from the marine ecology and to create a clean and green environment.
SEKOLAH INFANTRI TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI MENGENDALIKAN KEMPEN MEMBERSIHKAN PANTAI
PENANJONG, Juma’at, 13 Oktober 2023 – Sekolah Infantri Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SI TDDB) telah mengendalikan kempen membersihkan pantai sempena Hari Ulang Tahun SI TDDB kali ke-14. Aktiviti tersebut telah diadakan di Pantai Penanjong, Tutong.
Kempen kebersihan tersebut telah diketuai oleh Mejar Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Pegawai Pemerintah SI TDDB bersama 106 kakitangan dan peserta-peserta kursus di SI TDDB.
Aktiviti kempen kebersihan ini telah diadakan di kawasan persisiran Pantai Penanjong dan meliputi lebih kurang dua kilometer kawasan pantai yang menghadap Laut China Selatan. Keadaan hujan lebat baru-baru ini dipercayai telah menyebabkan kebersihan kawasan pantai tercemar dan kempen ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesedaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya mewujudkan persekitaran yang bersih dan hijau.
