PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 1 December 2023 – The School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF) held the Closing Ceremony of the Section Commander Course 2023 today at the Parade Square, SOI RBLF, Penanjong Garrison. A total of 46 participants have successfully completed the course which was conducted from 24 September 2023 to 1 December 2023.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Major Faizal Azly bin Rosli, Commanding Officer SOI RBLF. Also present were invited officers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and instructors of SOI RBLF.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al – Fatihah led by Ustaz Mohammad Rusaini bin Awang, Imam of Surau Al-Hikmah, Penanjong Garrison, followed by the opening remarks from Sergeant Muhammad Hamiduddin Hidayatullah bin Awang Taha, Conducting Instructor from the Other Ranks Development Wing, SOI RBLF. It continued with the presentation of certificates to the course participants and presentation of award winners by the Guest of Honour.
The Best Theory was awarded to Lance Corporal Muhammad Iqram bin Hamdani from Training Institute RBAF. Meanwhile, Best Practical, Best Physical Training and Best Overall Student was awarded to Lance Corporal Noor Waadini bin Haji Mohd Suhaini from Training Institute RBAF. The event concluded with a speech and official closing of the course by the Guest of Honour, Closing Doa and a group photo session.
The course aims to improve the techniques, tactics and procedures in carrying out jungle operations as well as to provide inspiration and confidence required in the planning and execution of an operation.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS TEMPUR KETUA SEKSYEN SESI 2023
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 1 Disember 2023 – Sekolah Infantri Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SI TDDB) telah mengendalikan Majlis Penutup Kursus Tempur Ketua Seksyen Sesi 2023 pada hari ini bertempat di Padang Kawad, SI TDDB, Penanjong Garison. Seramai 46 peserta telah berjaya menamatkan kursus tersebut yang berlangsung pada 24 November 2023 hingga 1 Disember 2023.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar Faizal Azly bin Rosli, Pegawai Pemerintah SI TDDB. Turut hadir ialah pegawai – pegawai jemputan dari Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) dan jurulatih SI TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al – Fatihah oleh Ustaz Mohammad Rusaini bin Awang, Imam Surau Al – Hikmah, Penanjong Garison, diikuti dengan ucapan dari Sarjan Muhammad Hamiduddin Hidayatullah bin Awang Taha selaku Jurulatih dari Cawangan Perkembangan Lain-Lain Peringkat, SI TDDB. Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil kepada semua peserta kursus dan penyampaian anugerah penuntut terbaik yang disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat.
Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Teori bagi kursus tersebut disandang oleh Las Kopral Muhammad Iqram bin Hamdani dari Institut Latihan ABDB. Manakala, Anugerah Penuntut Terbaik Amali, Penuntut Terbaik Latihan Jasmani dan Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan disandang oleh Las Kopral Noor Waadini bin Haji Mohd Suhaini dari IL ABDB. Majlis diakhiri dengan ucapan penutup kursus dari Tetamu Kehormat, bacaan Doa Penutup dan sesi bergambar ramai.
Kursus ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan teknik, taktik dan prosedur yang betul dalam melaksanakan operasi hutan, di samping memberikan inspirasi serta keyakinan yang tinggi bagi anggota terlibat dalam merancang dan menjayakan operasi yang diamanahkan.
