BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 13th August 2026 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held the Opening Ceremony of Dikir Maulud 1448H to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wassallam (PBUH), and as an expression of love and gratitude towards him, and to seek blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala. The ceremony was held simultaneously at all RBLF suraus, with the focal event took place at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison.
Present at the ceremony was Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). Also in attendance were the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Acting Commander of RBLF, Deputy Commander of Royal Brunei Navy, Directors, senior officers, officers and personnel of the Ministry of Defence.
The ceremony commenced with mass Fardhu Maghrib Prayer followed by the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah. This was followed by the reading of Sirah Nabawiyah by Yang Mulia Ustaz Mohammad Fahmi bin Haji Matnoor from the RBAF Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT). The ceremony then continued with Dikir Assalammualaika, mass Fardhu Isya’ Prayer, Selawat Badriyah, Dikir Dibaie and Dikir Marhaban led by Yang Mulia Lance Corporal Abdul Muiz bin Mustafa from JAMA’AT.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam by Yang Mulia Lieutenant Colonel Abd Mujib bin Hj Japar Acting Director of JAMA’AT, followed by Selawat Qiam, Surah Al-‘Asr, Tasbih Kaffarah and Doa for both parents.
The Dikir Maulud will continue for 12 consecutive nights across all RBAF suraus, with various activities planned throughout the month of Rabiulawal, as a mark of love and respect towards Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wassallam (PBUH).
TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI MENGADAKAN MAJLIS PEMBUKAAN DIKIR MAULUD BAGI TAHUN 1448H
BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis, 13 Ogos 2026 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Pembukaan Dikir Maulud 1448H bagi memperingati kelahiran junjungan besar Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wassallam serta menzahirkan rasa syukur dan kecintaan kepada Baginda serta bagi memohon keberkatan dari Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala. Majlis berkenaan berlangsung secara serentak di semua surau-surau TDDB dengan tumpuan utama di Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garison.
Hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Yang Mulia Mejar Jeneral Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB). Turut hadir ialah Setiausaha Tetap, Kementerian Pertahanan, Pemangku Pemerintah TDDB, Timbalan Pemerintah Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei, Pengarah-Pengarah, pegawai-pegawai kanan serta warga Kementerian Pertahanan.
Majlis dimulakan dengan sembahyang Fardhu Maghrib berjemaah, diikuti dengan bacaan Sayyidul Istighfar dan Surah Al-Fatihah. Disusuli dengan bacaan Sirah Nabawiyah oleh Yang Mulia Ustaz Mohammad Fahmi bin Haji Matnoor dari Jabatanarah Agama ABDB (JAMA’AT). Majlis diteruskan lagi dengan Dikir Assalammualaika, sembahyang Fardhu Isya’ berjemaah, Selawat Badriyah, Dikir Dibaie serta Dikir Marhaban yang dipimpin oleh Yang Mulia Lans Koperal Abdul Muiz bin Mustafa dari JAMA’AT ABDB.
Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam oleh Yang Mulia Leftenan Kolonel Abd Mujib bin Hj Japar Pemangku Pengarah JAMA’AT ABDB, serta diikuti dengan Selawat Qiam, Surah Al-‘Asr, Tasbih Kaffarah dan Doa untuk kedua ibu bapa.
Dikir Maulud akan diteruskan selama 12 malam berturut-turut di seluruh surau-surau ABDB dengan pelbagai acara-acara sampingan yang dirancang di sepanjang bulan Rabiulawal, sebagai tanda kasih dan penghormatan kepada junjungan besar Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wassallam.
