BERAKAS GARISSON, Friday 01 March 2019 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held a handover ceremony for the appointment of the new RBLF Sergeant Major. The ceremony took place at Parade Square, First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF).
Present at the ceremony were Sergeant Majors from the Second and Third Battalions, Support Battalion, Combat Service Support and Berakas Garrison. The parade comprised of Senior Ranks of the RBLF supported by a Platoon of Pipe Band from 2Bn and 3Bn RBLF.
The handing over ceremony commenced with the honorary salute to the guest of honour, PW1 Awang Rashid bin Haji Abd Rahman, the outgoing RBLF Sergeant Major. The ceremony was followed by parade inspection and march pass led by PW2 (T) Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Kaling, Sergeant Major 1Bn RBLF. The ceremony concluded with the signing of parchment between the outgoing RBLF Sergeant Major to the new RBLF Sergeant Major, PW1 Selamat bin Haji Mohd Yassin.
UPACARA SERAH TERIMA TUGAS SARJAN MEJAR TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
BERAKAS GARISON, Jumaat 01 Mac 2019 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Serah Terima Tugas diantara Sarjan Mejar TDDB. Majlis berlangsung di Padang Kawad Batalion Pertama Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (1Bn TDDB).
Turut hadir dimajlis tersebut adalah Sarjan Mejar daripada Batalion Kedua dan Ketiga, Bn Bantu TDDB, Khidmat Bantuan Kombat TDDB dan Berakas Garison. Kawalan Kehormatan berjalan lalu terdiri daripada gabungan PTB-PTB Kanan TDDB dan gabungan Pancaragam Platun Serunai dan Tambur daripada 2Bn TDDB dan 3Bn TDDB.
Upacara Perbarisan dimulakan dengan tabik hormat kepada Tetamu Kehormat, Yang Mulia PW1 Awang Rashid bin Haji Abd Rahman, Sarjan Mejar TDDB. Upacara diteruskan dengan pemeriksaan perbarisan, perbarisan berjalan lalu dalam masa perlahan dan cepat, seterusnya perbarisan mara kehadapan untuk diperhati semula yang diketuai oleh Yang Mulia PW2 (T) Haji Abd Rahman bin Haji Kaling, Sarjan Mejar 1Bn TDDB. Upacar Serah Terima Tugas diakhiri dengan menandatangani Sijil Serah Terima Tugas diantara PW1 Awang Rashid bin Haji Abd Rahman dan PW1 Selamat bin Haji Mohd Yassin, Sarjan Mejar TDDB yang baru.
