BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday, 23 March 2021 – In conjunction with the 59th RBAF anniversary, Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held an annual charity event for the presentation of donations to children with special needs held at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commander of the RBLF. Also present were the Deputy Commander of RBLF, Senior Officers, Officers and RBAF personnel, parents and guardians of the children.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by Captain Mohammad Farid bin Mohd Raffi, the Religious Officer from Religious Department of RBAF (JAMA’AT) and followed by opening remarks from Major Mohd Asmafahmi Hazimin bin Mohd Sultan, the Chairman of the event. The event continued with the presentation of donations by the Guest of Honour to 30 children with special needs and concluded with the recital of doa selamat.
This annual event is one of the community service activities in the effort to nurture a culture of giving and generosity amongst the RBAF personnel. The charitable donations collected were in the form of cash and in-kinds from the Wives Association of the RBAF (BAKTI), AMJ Enterprise, Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka Library and Cooperative Limited Company of the RBAF (KOWIRA).
TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI MENYAMPAIKAN SUMBANGAN KEPADA KANAK-KANAK YANG BERKEPERLUAN KHAS SEMPENA SAMBUTAN HARI ULANG TAHUN ABDB YANG KE-59
BERAKAS GARISON, Selasa, 23 Mac 2021 – Bersempena dengan Sambutan Hari Ulang Tahun ABDB yang ke-59, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menganjurkan acara amal dengan penyampaian sumbangan kepada kanak-kanak yang berkeperluan khas di Mes Pegawai, Berakas Garison.
Hadir sebagai Tetamu Kehormat ialah Brigedier Jeneral Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB, Pegawai-Pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota ABDB serta ibu bapa dan penjaga kanak-kanak.
Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah oleh Kapten Mohammad Farid bin Mohd Raffi, Pegawai Agama dari Jabatan Agama ABDB (JAMA’AT) dan disusuli dengan ucapan pembukaan dari Mejar Mohd Asmafahmi Hazimin bin Mohd Sultan, selaku Pengerusi majlis tersebut. Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian sumbangan oleh Tetamu Kehormat Majlis kepada 30 orang kanak-kanak yang berkeperluan khas dan diakhiri dengan doa selamat.
Acara tahunan ini adalah salah satu aktiviti khidmat masyarakat dalam usaha memupuk sifat pemurah dan budaya memberi di kalangan anggota ABDB. Derma amal yang dikumpulkan adalah dalam bentuk wang tunai dan juga hadiah daripada Persatuan Badan Kebajikan Isteri-isteri ABDB (BAKTI), ‘AMJ Enterprise’, Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka dan Syarikat Koperasi ABDB dengan Tanggungan Berhad (KOWIRA).
