BRUNEI, Saturday, 22 January 2022 – A Malam Munajat Ceremony organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) in collaboration with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT) was held today via video teleconference simultaneously throughout the country. This was further enlivened by the participation from the Ministry of Defence and RBAF which was held at suraus in RBAF camps including suraus at all Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) camps.
Present at the ceremony held at Surau Ad-Difa’ was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister of Defence II, Commander of RBAF and Senior Officers. Similar ceremonies were also held simultaneously at the RBLF camps via video teleconference attended by respective officers and personnel.
The event commenced with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Minister of Defence II, followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasin. The ceremony continued with the recitation of Doa Munajat and Tazkirah themed ‘Panduan Sunnah Dalam Mencegah Musibah‘ presented by Captain Mohammad Ayza Azrine bin Ayahani, Religious Operations Officer, JAMA’AT RBAF. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Selawat and Doa Peliharakan Sultan and Negara Brunei Darussalam.
The ceremony was held to prevent any further outbreaks of the COVID-19 Pandemic in the country as well as aiming to seek mercy and grace and to glorify the greatness of Allah SWT.

BRUNEI, Sabtu, 22 Januari 2022 – Majlis Malam Munajat anjuran Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama (KHEU) dengan kerjasama Jabatanarah Agama Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (JAMA’AT ABDB) telah diadakan pada hari ini secara maya di seluruh negara. Ini dimeriahkan lagi dengan penyertaan daripada Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB yang mana telah diadakan di semua surau-surau perkhemahan ABDB termasuk surau-surau di perkhemahan Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB).
Hadir bagi menyertai majlis yang diadakan di Surau Ad-Difa’ ialah Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Mejar Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Menteri Pertahanan Kedua, Pemerintah ABDB dan Pegawai-pegawai Kanan. Majlis yang sama juga turut diadakan secara serentak di perkhemahan-perkhemahan TDDB secara maya dihadiri oleh Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota di setiap perkhemahan.
Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Sayyidul Istighfar dan Surah Al- Fatihah yang dipimpin oleh Menteri Pertahanan Kedua diikuti dengan bacaan Surah Yaasin beramai-ramai. Majlis diteruskan dengan bacaan Doa Munajat dan Tazkirah bertemakan ‘Panduan Sunnah Dalam Mencegah Musibah’ yang telah disampaikan oleh Kapten Mohammad Ayza Azrine bin Ayahani, Pegawai Operasi Agama, JAMA’AT ABDB. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan Selawat dan Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Majlis tersebut diadakan bagi mengelak penularan wabak COVID-19 di negara ini dan untuk memohon keampunan dan rahmat dari Allah SWT serta memuliakan tanda-tanda kebesaran-Nya.
