SUNGAI AKAR CAMP, Friday, 02 December 2022 – The closing ceremony of the Supervisor for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Course for Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) was conducted at the Briefing Room, Royal Guards Regiment RBLF Headquarters.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Field Commander of RBLF in his capacity as Acting Deputy Commander of RBLF. Also present were the Chief Dental Officer RBLF and other Senior Officers of RBLF.
The Guest of Honour in his speech highlighted an excerpt from the Commander’s Guide for RBLF in conjunction with its 61st anniversary, emphasising on ‘Improving the Quality of Life’, aptly aligned with maintaining the health and safety RBLF personnel, to minimise incident and generating high level of work productivity. He also emphasised on the course participants to fully utilise the knowledge and skills acquired in their workplace as a competent OHS Supervisor. The ceremony concluded with the recital of Doa and photo session.
The course was conducted from 21 until 23 November 2022, participated by a total of 51 RBLF personnel, and included the submission of risk assessment projects. The aim of the course was to increase the skills, knowledge and level of awareness of its supervisors as well as to give the RBLF personnel necessary abilities, training, experience, and qualification to be a competent OHS Manager or Supervisor in their respective units.
KURSUS PENYELIA KESIHATAN DAN KESELAMATAN KERJA SIRI 02/2022 PERINGKAT TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN SUNGAI AKAR, Jumaat, 02 Disember 2022 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Penyelia Kesihatan dan Keselamatan di tempat Kerja (KKK) bagi Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah dilaksanakan di Bilik Taklimat, Markas Regimen Pengawal Diraja TDDB.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Kolonel Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Pemerintah Medan TDDB selaku Pemangku Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB. Majlis tersebut turut dihadiri oleh Ketua Pegawai Pergigian TDDB dan Pegawai-Pegawai Kanan TDDB.
Melalui ucapan Tetamu Kehormat, beliau menekankan petikan Panduan Pemerintah TDDB (Commander’s Guidance) bersempena Hari Ulang Tahun TDDB ke 61 mengenai ‘Peningkatan Kualiti Hidup’ yang sejajar dengan keperluan pengekalan kesihatan dan keselamatan anggota di tempat kerja, pengurangan dari berlakunya insiden dan menjana produktiviti kerja yang berkualiti tinggi. Beliau juga menyarankan agar semua peserta kursus untuk mengaplikasikan ilmu pengetahuan dan kemahiran yang diperolehi bagi meningkatkan tahap KKK selaku Penyelia KKK yang kompeten di tempat kerja mereka. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan doa dan sesi bergambar ramai.
Kursus ini telah berlangsung bermula 21 hingga 23 November 2022 dan disertai oleh seramai 51 anggota TDDB yang melibatkan penghantaran projek penilaian risiko. Ia dihasratkan untuk meningkatkan kemahiran, ilmu pengetahuan dan tahap kesedaran penyelia, di samping bagi melengkapkan anggota TDDB dengan keupayaan, latihan, pengalaman dan kelulusan yang bersesuaian untuk menjadi seorang pengurus atau penyelia KKK yang terlatih di unit masing-masing.
