BERAKAS GARRISON, Saturday, 20 April 2019 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) marked Nisfu Syaaban with ceremonies held throughout RBLF camps.
Present as the guest of honour at the Surau Al Faizun, Berakas Garrison was Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, the Commander of the RBLF. Also present was the Deputy Commander of the RBLF, Senior Officers, Officers and RBLF Personnel.
Meanwhile, at Surau Ar-Rahmah, Lumut Camp, the guest of honour for the ceremony was Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, the Commanding Officer of Third Battalion, RBLF. For the ceremony at Penanjong Garisson conducted by Support Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Shafiee bin Haji Duraman, Commandant of Training Institute, Royal Brunei Armed Forces was present as the guest of honour.
The ceremonies began with the recital of Al-Quran followed by mass maghrib prayer, recital of Surah Yassin three times followed by special prayers of Nisfu Syaaban and mass Isyak prayer.
TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI SAMBUT MALAM NISFU SYAABAN 1440 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARISON, Sabtu 20 April 2019 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) menyambut malam Nisfu Syaaban yang berlangsung di semua perkhemahan TDDB.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat majlis di Surau Al Faizun, Berakas Garison ialah Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai Pegawai, PTB-PTB Kanan dan Rendah TDDB.
Manakala di Surau Ar-Rahmah, Perkhemahan Lumut, Tetamu Kehormat bagi majlis tersebut ialah Leftenan Kolonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Pegawai Pemerintah, Batalion Ketiga TDDB. Bagi majlis yang dikendalikan oleh Batalion Bantu di Penanjong Garison ialah Leftenan Kolonel Muhammad Shafiee bin Haji Duraman, Komandan Institut Latihan, Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Ayat-Ayat Suci Al-Quran dan Solat Berjemaah Fardhu Maghrib dan seterusnya membaca Surah Yassin sebanyak 3 kali dan Doa Khas Nisfu Syaaban dan kemudian sembahyang fardhu Isyak berjemaah.
