BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday, 18 July 2023 – Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) celebrated the new Islamic Year 1445 Hijrah at all suraus in RBLF camps including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque. The Hijrah new year celebration will now be known as Ilal Hijrah which means migration.
Present for the ceremony held at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison was Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat , Deputy Commander of RBLF. Also in attendance were Field Commander of RBLF, senior officers, officers and personnel of RBLF. Similar ceremonies that were held at the other RBLF camps were attended by respective Commanding Officers, officers and personnel of RBLF.
The event commenced with the recital of Doa Akhir Tahun 1444H led by Imam Muhammad Syakir Farhan bin Haji Omar, Imam of Surau Al-Faizun. It continued with a congregation Maghrib prayer, followed by the recitation of Doa Awal Tahun 1445H and Sunnat Hajat prayer. The ceremony also enlivened with the recitation of Surah Yassin and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony concluded with congregational Isya’ prayer and a Closing Doa.
The theme for the New Islamic Year 1445 is “Ugama Dipelihara, Negara Sejahtera“. Muslims are encouraged to change for the better by learning lessons taught through Hijrah – the historic movement of Prophet Muhammad SAW from Mekah to Madinah which proved not only a glorious chapter in the growth of Islam, but also included valuable lessons in “sacrificing” for a change.
TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI SAMBUT AWAL TAHUN BARU 1445 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARISON, Selasa, 18 Julai 2023 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menyemarakkan sambutan Awal Tahun Baru Hijrah 1445 di seluruh surau perkhemahan TDDB termasuk Masjid Pulau Baru – Baru. Mulai pada tahun ini, Sambutan Awal Tahun Hijrah akan dikenali sebagai ‘Ilal Hijrah’ bermaksud menuju kepada penghijrahan.
Hadir bagi majlis yang diadakan di Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garison ialah Kolonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Pemerintah Medan TDDB, pegawai-pegawai kanan TDDB, pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB. Majlis yang sama juga diadakan secara serentak di semua perkhemahan TDDB yand turut dihadiri oleh Pegawai Pemerintah, pegawai-pegawai serta anggota-anggota perkhemahan masing-masing.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Doa Akhir Tahun 1444 Hijrah yang diketuai oleh Muhammad Syakir Farhan bin Haji Omar, Imam Surau Al-Fa’izun. Majlis diteruskan dengan menunaikan Sembahyang Fardhu Maghrib berjemaah, bacaan Doa Awal Tahun 1445 Hijrah dan seterusnya Sembahyang Sunat Hajat. Majlis juga diserikan dengan bacaan Surah Yassin, Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam. Majlis diakhiri dengan menunaikan Sembahyang Fardhu Isya’ berjemaah dan bacaan Doa Penutup.
