BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 04 November 2020 – Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) celebrated its 59th anniversary today at Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garrison in a smaller gathering in light of the COVID-19 restrictions in Brunei Darussalam.
Presented as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commander of RBLF. Also present were the Deputy Commander of RBLF, Chief of Staff of RBLF, Acting Commandant of the Combat Service Support (CSS) RBLF, senior officers, officers, Land Force Sergeant Major and RBLF personnel. The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by welcoming speech by Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Haji Saiful Amirul Bakri bin Pengiran Haji Ramlee, Commanding Officer of 2Bn RBLF as the chairman for this year’s anniversary.
The event continue with the Commander of RBLF’s speech which emphasised on the preparedness, readiness and professionalism of RBLF. He advised all RBLF personnel to remain vigilant and adaptive to the new norms due to COVID-19 be it in term of administration, training and operations. He also touched on his 12 command philosophies, welfare and highlighted the key achievements and notable progress that had been made throughout the year particularly in area of defence diplomacy and operations. In his final note, the Commander of RBLF highlighted that RBLF’s growing capabilities serve to improve the RBLF’s operational readiness and also stressed that security and discipline must be maintained all time.
In conjunction with the RBLF’s anniversary this year, Tabung Korban Aidiladha Project was launched as a platform for all RBLF personnel to participate in Ibadah Korban. The ceremony continued with the certificate presentation to the RBLF personnel who achieved exemplary commendations in their respective units and prize presentation for the 2020’s Drill Competition. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of the pledge, closing doa and a photo session.


TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI MENYAMBUT HARI ULANG TAHUN KE-59
BERAKAS GARISON, Rabu, 04 November 2020 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) menyambut Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke-59 pada hari ini bertempat di Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garison dengan kehadiran yang dihadkan dalam suasana COVID-19 yang masih dipantau di negara ini.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Brigedier Jeneral Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir di majlis berkenaan ialah Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB, Ketua Staf TDDB, Pemangku Komandan Khidmat Bantuan Kombat (KBK) TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai, Sarjan Mejar Tentera Darat dan anggota-anggota TDDB. Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan ucapan alu-aluan dari Leftenan Kolonel Pengiran Haji Saiful Amirul Bakri bin Pengiran Haji Ramlee, Pegawai Pemerintah Batalion Kedua TDDB selaku pengerusi HUT TDDB pada tahun ini.
Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian perutusan dari Pemerintah TDDB yang mana beliau menekankan mengenai kesiapsiagaan, kesediaan dan profesionalisma TDDB. Beliau juga menasihatkan agar seluruh warga TDDB untuk sentiasa berwaspada dan beradaptasi terhadap norma-norma baru akibat COVID-19 dari segi pentadbiran, latihan dan operasi. Seterusnya, beliau menyentuh mengenai 12 Falsafah Pemerintahannya, aspek kebajikan dan menyebutkan akan pencapaian signifikan dan kemajuan TDDB yang telah dicapai di sepanjang tahun, khususnya dalam diplomasi pertahanan dan operasi. Pada akhir perutusan beliau, Pemerintah TDDB turut menekankan mengenai perkembangan keupayaan dalam mempertingkatkan lagi tahap kesiapsiagaan operasi TDDB dan menegaskan bahawa sekuriti dan disiplin mestilah dikekalkan pada setiap masa.
Sempena HUT TDDB pada tahun ini, Projek Tabung Korban Aidiladha TDDB telah dilancarkan sebagai platform bagi semua warga TDDB untuk menyertai Ibadah Korban. Majlis diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil penghargaan kepada anggota- anggota TDDB yang cemerlang mengikut unit masing-masing dan penyampaian hadiah bagi Perlawanan Kawad tahun 2020. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan ikrar, doa penutup dan sesi bergambar ramai.
