BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Saturday, 29 February 2020 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) Wives Welfare Association (BAKTI) organised a ten-pin bowling tournament at the Golden Strike Bowling Centre, The Airport Mall.
The event was officiated by the guests of honour, Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Commander of RBLF and Datin Mazlin binti Osman, spouse of the Commander of RBLF.
The RBLF Headquarters team emerged as champion in the male team category, followed by Third Battalion RBLF in second place and Support Battalion RBLF in the third position. For the female team category, team First Battalion RBLF emerged as the champion followed by the RBLF Headquarters team at second place and the RSM and DSM RBLF team attained third place. The prizes were presented to the winners by both guests of honour.
The tournament concluded with the presentation of a token of appreciation between the spouse of Commander of RBLF and the Chairwoman of Second Battalion RBLF BAKTI, Hajah Soveyanna binti Haji Abas.
The ten-pin bowling tournament is an annual sports activity held by BAKTI aimed to build strong communal bonds amongst the military spouses.
PERLAWANAN BOLING BAKTI TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sabtu, 29 Februari 2020 – Ahli- ahli Badan Kebajikan Isteri-Isteri Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (BAKTI TDDB) telah menganjurkan perlawanan Ten-Pin Boling di Golden Strike Bowling Centre, The Airport Mall.
Acara perlawanan boling ini telah dirasmikan oleh tetamu kehormat majlis iaitu Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Pemerintah TDDB dan Datin Mazlin binti Osman, isteri kepada Pemerintah TDDB.
Perlawanan boling bagi kategori lelaki dijuarai oleh Kumpulan Markas Tentera Darat diikuti oleh naib juara iaitu Kumpulan Batalion Ketiga TDDB, dan Kumpulan Batalion Bantu TDDB dalam tempat ketiga. Bagi kategori wanita dijuari oleh Kumpulan Batalion Pertama TDDB diikuti oleh naib juara iaitu Kumpulan Markas Tentera Darat dan Kumpulan RSM dan DSM TDDB meraih tempat ketiga. Hadiah-hadiah pemenang telah disampaikan oleh tetamu kehormat.
Acara diakhiri dengan persembahan tanda penghargaan antara tetamu kehormat isteri Pemerintah TDDB dan Puan Pengerusi Batalion Kedua BAKTI TDDB, Hajah Soveyanna binti Haji Abas.
Acara sukan ini adalah salah satu acara tahunan BAKTI Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei yang bertujuan untuk mengeratkan lagi hubungan di antara ahli-ahli BAKTI TDDB.
