BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 11 September 2026 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) attended the Maulidur Rasul Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam Forum 1448 Hijrah / 2026 held by The Ministry of Defence at Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garrison. A total of 62 RBLF Officers and personnel attended the forum.
In attendance at the forum was Brigadier General (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary (Policy and Administration) at the Ministry of Defence alongside Datin. Also in attendance were the Service Commanders and the Joint Force Commander with their respective spouses, the Deputy Permanent Secretaries at the Ministry of Defence, Directors and their spouses, Senior Officers, officers and personnel of the Ministry of Defence. Members of the RBAF Wives Welfare Body (BAKTI) were also invited to attend the forum.
The event commenced with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Mujib bin Haji Japar, Acting Director of the RBAF Religious Directorate, followed by a forum entitled “Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam Suluh Aqidah” (Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam: The Guiding Light of Faith).
Through the theme “Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam Suluh Aqidah”, the forum highlighted the importance of taking Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam as the exemplary role model and source of guidance in all aspects of life. Embracing His teachings and noble character not only serves as a foundation for developing faithful Muslims of exemplary character, but also contributes towards building families, organisations and communities that remain steadfast in upholding the teachings of Islam.
The forum is one of the Ministry of Defence’s annual activities held to enliven the blessed month of Rabi’ulawal, while commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam and reflecting upon His life, struggles and exemplary noble character.
TDDB HADIRI FORUM MAULIDUR RASUL SHALLALLAHU ‘ALAIHI WASALLAM 1448 HIJRAH / 2026 MASEHI ANJURAN KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN
BERAKAS GARISON, Jumaat, 11 September 2026 – Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menghadiri Forum Maulidur Rasul Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam 1448 Hijrah / 2026 Masehi yang dianjurkan oleh Kementerian Pertahanan bertempat di Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garison. Seramai 62 Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB telah menghadiri Forum tersebut.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat majlis untuk forum tersebut ialah Brigedier Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Setiausaha Tetap (Dasar dan Pentadbiran), Kementerian Pertahanan bersama Datin. Turut hadir ialah Pemerintah-Pemerintah Angkatan Tentera dan Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama serta isteri, Timbalan-timbalan Setiausaha Tetap, Kementerian Pertahanan, Pengarah-Pengarah serta isteri, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai serta warga Kementerian Pertahanan. Turut diundang bagi sama-sama mendengarkan forum ialah ahli-ahli Badan Kebajikan Isteri-Isteri ABDB (BAKTI).
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Sayyidul Istighfar dan Surah Al-Fatihah yang diketuai oleh Leftenan Kolonel Abdul Mujib bin Haji Japar, Pemangku Pengarah Jabatanarah Agama ABDB, diikuti dengan forum bertajuk “Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam Suluh Aqidah”.
Melalui tema “Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam Suluh Aqidah”, forum ini turut menekankan kepentingan menjadikan Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam sebagai contoh dan pedoman dalam setiap aspek kehidupan dan kekeluargaan. Penghayatan terhadap ajaran dan akhlak Baginda bukan sahaja menjadi asas kepada pembentukan peribadi Muslim yang beriman dan berakhlak mulia, malah berperanan dalam membina keluarga, organisasi dan masyarakat yang berpegang teguh kepada ajaran Islam.
Penganjuran forum ini merupakan salah satu aktiviti tahunan Kementerian Pertahanan dalam menyemarakkan sambutan bulan Rabi’ulawal yang penuh keberkatan, di samping memperingati kelahiran Junjungan Besar Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam serta menghayati sirah, perjuangan dan keindahan akhlak Baginda.
