LUMUT CAMP, Wednesday, 12 July 2023 – A promotion ceremony for the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and NCOs of Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) at two separate venues. The promotion ceremony for the SNCOs was held at the Warrant Officers’, Staff Sergeants’ and Sergeants’ Mess of 3Bn RBLF whereas for the NCOs was held at the Corporal Club, 3Bn RBLF.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Major Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF. Also present were officers and Senior NCOs of 3Bn RBLF. A total of eight personnel were promoted to SNCOs in which five personnel promoted to Substantive Sergeant and three personnel to Acting Sergeant. Meanwhile, 12 NCOs were promoted in which four personnel promoted to Substantive Corporal, two personnel to Acting Corporal, three personnel to Substantive Lance Corporal and three personnel to Acting Lance Corporal.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by presentation of rank insignias by the Guest of Honour and the recital of Doa Selamat. The ceremony concluded with a group photo session and signing of parchment.
MAJLIS PENYAMPAIAN PANGKAT BAGI ANGGOTA – ANGGOTA
BATALION KETIGA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Rabu, 12 Julai 2023 – Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (3Bn TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Kenaikan Pangkat di dua tempat berasingan iaitu bagi Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah (PTB) Kanan di Mes Pegawai Waran, Staf Sarjan dan Sarjan 3Bn TDDB dan bagi PTB-PTB telah dilaksanakan di Kelab Kopral 3Bn TDDB.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Pegawai Pemerintah 3Bn TDDB. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Pegawai-pegawai dan PTB-PTB Kanan 3Bn TDDB. Seramai lapan PTB Kanan telah dinaikkan pangkat, iaitu lima anggota dinaikkan ke pangkat Sarjan Tetap dan tiga anggota ke pangkat Pemangku Sarjan. Manakala, bagi kenaikan pangkat PTB-PTB ialah seramai 12 anggota iaitu empat anggota menerima Kopral Tetap, dua anggota ke Pemangku Kopral, tiga anggota ke pangkat Las Kopral Tetap dan tiga anggota ke Pemangku Las Kopral.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan sesi penyampaian pangkat yang disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat dan bacaan Doa Selamat. Majlis diakhiri dengan sesi bergambar ramai dan penandatanganan lembaran kenangan.
