LUMUT CAMP, Friday, 13 October 2023 – A promotion ceremony for Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) personnel took place today at two separate venues. The promotion ceremony for the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCO) was held at the Warrant Officers’, Staff Sergeants’, and Sergeants’ Mess whereas the promotion ceremony for the NCOs was held at the Cook House, 3Bn RBLF, Lumut Camp.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF. Also present at the ceremony were officers and personnel of 3Bn RBLF.
A total of two SNCOs were promoted to Acting Sergeant. While a total of 24 NCOs were promoted which consisted of three personnel promoted to Acting Corporal, five personnel promoted to Substantive Lance Corporal and 16 personnel promoted to Acting Lance Corporal.
With this promotion, it is expected that these personnel will be more committed and responsible in carrying out their duties, and that each personnel would instill within themselves that their new appointment be taken with full responsibility and professionalism in line with the organisation’s goals.
MAJLIS KENAIKAN PANGKAT BAGI ANGGOTA BATALION KETIGA
TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Jumaat, 13 Oktober 2023 – Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (3Bn TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Penyampaian Pangkat di dua tempat berasingan iaitu bagi Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah (PTB) Kanan bertempat di Mes Pegawai Waran, Staf Sarjan dan Sarjan, manakala bagi PTB telah dilaksanakan di Dewan Makan 3Bn TDDB, Perkhemahan Lumut.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Pegawai Pemerintah 3Bn TDDB. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah pegawai-pegawai dan anggota 3Bn TDDB.
Jumlah keseluruhan yang menerima pangkat bagi PTB Kanan ialah seramai dua anggota yang dinaikkan ke pangkat Pemangku Sarjan. Manakala, bagi kenaikan pangkat PTB-PTB ialah seramai 24 anggota iaitu tiga anggota ke pangkat Pemangku Kopral, lima anggota ke pangkat Las Kopral Tetap dan 16 anggota ke pangkat Pemangku Las Kopral.
Dengan kenaikan pangkat ini, semua anggota diharapkan akan lebih komited dan bertanggungjawab dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggungjawab yang diamanahkan. Di samping itu, setiap anggota hendaklah menerapkan sikap profesional dan menunjukkan kesungguhan di segenap bidang yang dipertanggungjawabkan demi merealisasikan matlamat organisasi dalam menuju kecemerlangan.
