TUTONG CAMP, Wednesday, 11 January 2023 – A promotion ceremony for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (JNCOs) of for Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) personnel took place today at two separate venues. The promotion ceremony for the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) was held at the Warrant Officers’, Staff Sergeants’ and Sergeants’ Mess of 2Bn RBLF whereas for the Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (JNCOs) was held at the Corporal Club, 2Bn RBLF.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Major Pengiran Baharuddin bin Pengiran Haji Ali, Commanding Officer of 2Bn RBLF. Also present at the ceremony were officers and personnel of 2Bn RBLF.
A total of nine personnel was promoted to SNCOs which is two personnel promoted to Substantive Sergeant and seven personnel promoted to Acting Sergeant. Meanwhile, for JNCOs, 17 personnel were promoted with four personnel promoted to Substantive Corporal, eight personnel were promoted to Acting Corporal, two personnel promoted to Substantive Lance Corporal, and three personnel were promoted to Acting Lance Corporal.
The ceremony commenced with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by presentation of rank insignias by the Guest of Honour and the recital of Doa Selamat. The ceremony concluded with a group photo session, the signing of parchment and refreshments.
MAJLIS PENYAMPAIAN PANGKAT BAGI ANGGOTA-ANGGOTA
BATALION KEDUA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, Rabu, 11 Januari 2023 – Batalion Kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (2Bn TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Penyampaian Pangkat di dua tempat berasingan iaitu bagi Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah (PTB) Kanan bertempat di Mes Pegawai Waran, Staf Sarjan dan Sarjan 2Bn TDDB dan bagi PTB Rendah telah dilaksanakan di Kelab Koperal 2Bn TDDB.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar Pengiran Baharuddin bin Pengiran Haji Ali, Pegawai Pemerintah 2Bn TDDB. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota 2Bn TDDB.
Jumlah keseluruhan yang menerima pangkat bagi PTB-PTB Kanan ialah seramai 9 anggota, iaitu dua anggota dinaikkan ke pangkat Sarjan Tetap dan tujuh anggota ke pangkat Pemangku Sarjan. Manakala, bagi kenaikan pangkat PTB-PTB Rendah seramai 17 anggota iaitu empat anggota menerima Kopral Tetap, lapan anggota menerima Pemangku Kopral, dua anggota menerima Las Kopral Tetap, dan tiga anggota menerima Pemangku Las Koperal
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan sesi penyampaian pangkat yang disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat dan bacaan Doa Selamat. Majlis diakhiri dengan sesi bergambar ramai, penandatanganan lembaran kenangan dan menikmati jamuan.
