TUTONG CAMP, Thursday, 18th July 2024 – A promotion ceremony for Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) personnel was held today at two separate venues. The promotion ceremony for the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) was held at the Warrant Officers’, Staff Sergeants’ and Sergeants’ Mess whereas the promotion ceremony for the Junior NCOs (JNCOs) was held at the Corporal Club, Tutong Camp.
Presenting the insignia to the newly promoted SNCOs and JNCOs was Major Awang Muhammad Muneer bin Haji Mohammad Taib, Acting Commanding Officer of 2Bn RBLF. Also present at the ceremony were Officers and personnel of 2Bn RBLF. A total of eight SNCOs were promoted to Substantive Sergeant, while 42 NCOs were promoted consisting of 13 to Substantive Corporal, two to Acting Corporal, 23 to Substantive Lance Corporal and four to Acting Lance Corporal.
With this promotion, it is hope that all personnel will be more committed in carrying out their duties and responsibilities towards realising the organisational goals.
MAJLIS KENAIKAN PANGKAT BAGI ANGGOTA BATALION KEDUA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, Khamis, 18 Julai 2024 – Batalion Kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (2Bn TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Penyampaian Pangkat di dua tempat berasingan. Majlis Penyampaian Pangkat bagi Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah (PTB) Kanan, telah diadakan di Mes Pegawai Waran, Staf Sarjan dan Sarjan, manakala bagi PTB Rendah telah dilaksanakan di Kelab Koperal, Perkhemahan Tutong.
Penyampaian pangkat kepada PTB-PTB Kanan dan PTB-PTB Rendah yang baru dinaikkan ialah Mejar Awang Muhammad Muneer bin Haji Mohammad Taib, Pemangku Pegawai Pemerintah 2Bn TDDB. Turut hadir di majlis berkenaan ialah Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota 2Bn TDDB. Jumlah keseluruhan bagi PTB Kanan yang dinaikkan pangkat ke Sarjan Tetap ialah seramai lapan anggota, manakala 42 PTB-PTB rendah telah dinaikkan pangkat yang terdiri daripada 13 ke Koperal Tetap, dua ke Pemangku Koperal, 23 ke Lans Koperal Tetap dan empat ke Pemangku Lans Koperal.
Dengan kenaikan pangkat ini, semua anggota adalah diharapkan untuk lebih komited dalam melaksanakan tugas dan bertanggungjawab ke arah merealisasikan matlamat organisasi.
