PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 7 August 2023 – A promotion ceremony for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and NCOs School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF) personnel took place today at two separate venues. The promotion ceremony for the SNCOs was held at the Warrant Officers’, Staff Sergeants’ and Sergeants’ Mess Penanjong Garrison whereas for the NCOs was held at the SOI RBLF Headquarters.
Present as the Guest of Honour for both ceremonies was Major Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of SOI RBLF. Also present were the Heads of Department and Assistant Heads of Department of SOI RBLF.
A total of eight personnel were promoted to SNCOs which is one personnel promoted to Substantive Staff Sergeant, two personnel to Acting Staff Sergeant, two personnel to Substantive Sergeant and three personnel promoted to Acting Sergeant. Meanwhile, for NCOs, seven personnel were promoted which is three personnel promoted to Substantive Corporal, one personnel to Acting Corporal, two personnel to Substantive Lance Corporal and one personnel promoted to Acting Lance Corporal.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the presentation of rank insignias by the Guest of Honour. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat, followed by a group photo session and the signing of parchment.
MAJLIS PENYAMPAIAN PANGKAT BAGI ANGGOTA – ANGGOTA SEKOLAH INFANTRI TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PENANJONG GARISON, Isnin, 7 Ogos 2023 – Sekolah Infantri Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SI TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Kenaikan Pangkat di dua tempat berasingan iaitu bagi Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah (PTB) Kanan di Mes Pegawai Waran, Staf Sarjan dan Sarjan Penanjong Garison dan bagi PTB-PTB telah dilaksanakan di Markas SI TDDB.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Pegawai Pemerintah SI TDDB. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Ketua-ketua Cawangan dan Penolong-penolong Ketua Cawangan SI TDDB.
Jumlah keseluruhan yang menerima pangkat bagi PTB-PTB Kanan ialah seramai lapan anggota iaitu seorang anggota dinaikkan ke pangkat Staf Sarjan Tetap, dua anggota ke pangkat Pemangku Staf Sarjan, dua anggota ke pangkat Sarjan Tetap dan tiga anggota dinaikkan ke pangkat Pemangku Sarjan. Manakala bagi PTB-PTB ialah seramai tujuh anggota iaitu tiga anggota dinaikkan ke pangkat Kopral Tetap, seorang anggota ke pangkat Pemangku Kopral, dua anggota ke pangkat Las Kopral Tetap dan seorang anggota dinaikkan ke pangkat Pemangku Las Kopral.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan sesi penyampaian pangkat yang disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat, diikuti dengan sesi bergambar ramai dan penandatanganan lembaran kenangan .
