BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 02 April 2021 – The promotion ceremonies for First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF) personnel took place at two separate venues. The promotion ceremony for the Senior Ranks took place at the Warrant Officer, Staff Sergeant and Sergeants’ Mess, 1Bn RBLF whereas for Junior Ranks, it was held at the Cookhouse 1Bn RBLF.
Present as the guest of honour was Major Norranellwi bin Siaran, Deputy Commanding Officer of 1Bn RBLF. Also present at the ceremony were Officers Commanding, Officers and personnel of 1Bn RBLF.
A total of 07 personnel were promoted to Senior Ranks; 05 were promoted to Sub Sergeant and 02 were promoted to Acting Sergeant. Meanwhile for Junior Ranks, a total of 38 personnel were promoted; 13 were promoted to Sub Corporal, 02 promoted to Acting Corporal, 10 promoted to Sub Lance Corporal and 13 promoted to Acting Lance Corporal.
The ceremonies commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the rank presentation by the guest of honour and the recitation of Doa Selamat. Both ceremonies concluded with a photo session and signing of parchment.
MAJLIS KENAIKAN PANGKAT BAGI ANGGOTA-ANGGOTA BATALION PERTAMA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
BERAKAS GARISON, Jumaat, 02 April 2021 – Batalion Pertama Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (1Bn TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Kenaikan Pangkat di dua tempat berasingan. Kenaikan Pangkat bagi Pegawai Tidak Bertauliah (PTB) Kanan bertempat di Mes Pegawai Waran, Staf Sarjan dan Sarjan 1Bn TDDB, manakala bagi PTB-PTB Rendah diadakan di Dewan Makan 1Bn TDDB.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Yang Mulia Mejar Norranellwi bin Siaran, Timbalan Pegawai Pemerintah 1Bn TDDB. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Pegawai-Pegawai Memerintah Kompeni, Pegawai-pegawai, PTB-PTB Kanan dan PTB-PTB Rendah 1Bn TDDB.
PTB-PTB Kanan yang telah menerima pangkat pada hari ini adalah seramai 07 anggota iaitu 05 anggota ke pangkat Sarjan Tetap dan 02 anggota ke pangkat Pemangku Sarjan. Seterusnya, kenaikan pangkat bagi PTB-PTB Rendah ialah seramai 38 anggota iaitu 13 anggota ke pangkat Koperal Tetap, 02 anggota ke pangkat Pemangku Koperal, 10 anggota ke pangkat Lans Koperal Tetap dan 13 anggota ke pangkat Pemangku Lans Koperal.
Majlis Kenaikan Pangkat dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan penyampaian pangkat oleh tetamu kehormat dan bacaan doa selamat. Majlis diakhiri dengan sesi bergambar ramai dan menandatangani lembaran kenangan.
