BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday, 11th March 2024 – The arrival of the blessed month of Ramadhan 1445 Hijrah was glorified with the Terawih Prayers and Tadarus Al-Quran ceremonies held at all suraus in Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) camps including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque.
Present at the ceremony held at Surau Al-Faizun, Berakas Garrison was Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of RBLF. Also present were Senior officers, officers and personnel of RBLF. Similar ceremonies were also held simultaneously at all RBLF camps attended by respective officers and personnel.
The event commenced with a mass Isya’ prayer followed by Terawih and Witir Prayers then proceeded with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and the opening of Tadarus Al-Quran. The tadarus concluded with Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Tadarus Al-Quran is a significant activities during the holy month of Ramadhan to increase good deed and aims to complete the recital of 30 Juz of the Al-Quran. This practice is also in line with the aspiration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam for the people in the country to uphold the knowledge and reading skills of Al-Quran as well as to produce an Al-Quran literate nation.
MAJLIS PEMBUKAAN SEMBAHYANG TERAWIH DAN TADARUS AL-QURAN SEMPENA MENYAMBUT BULAN RAMADHAN 1445 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARISON, Isnin, 11 Mac 2024 – Kedatangan bulan Ramadhan yang penuh keberkatan disambut dengan majlis pembukaan Sembahyang Terawih dan Tadarus Al-Quran yang diadakan di semua surau perkhemahan Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) termasuk Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru.
Hadir bagi acara yang diadakan di Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garison ialah Brigedier Jeneral Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan Sembahyang Fardhu Isyak berjemaah diikuiti dengan Sembahyang Terawih dan Witir sebelum diteruskan dengan bacaan Sayyidul Istighfar dan majlis pelancaran Tadarus Al-Quran. Majlis diakhiri dengan Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Tadarus Al-Quran adalah aktiviti penting semasa bulan suci Ramadhan untuk meningkatkan amalan baik dan bertujuan untuk menghabiskan bacaan 30 Juzu’ Kitab suci Al-Quran. Amalan ini juga sejajar dengan aspirasi Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam untuk rakyat di negara meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemahiran pembacaan Al-Quran serta melahirkan rakyat dan penduduk yang celik Al-Quran.
