TUTONG CAMP, Friday, 18 March 2022 – The Opening Ceremony of the Battalion Skills At Arms Meet 2022 (BNSAAM) took place today at the Football Field, Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF). The BNSAAM competition is scheduled to take place from 21 March 2022 until 27 March 2022.
Present at the ceremony as the guest of honour was Major Haji Nafisal @ Dedy bin Haji Salim, Second-In-Command of 2Bn RBLF. Also present at the ceremony were officers and personnel of 2Bn RBLF.
The ceremony commenced with the honorary salute led by Lieutenant Ahmad Ifwat bin Ahmad Basuni as the Parade Commander followed by a speech by the guest of honour. In his speech, the guest of honour advised for the participants to gain benefits from their participation in the BNSAAM and view their participation as the preparations for the upcoming Land Force Skills At Arms Meet (LFSAAM) which will be hosted in August 2022.
The ceremony continued with an introductory meet with the Contingents Commander and participants consisting of 75 personnel from A Company, B Company, C Company, Admin Company and Command Company of 2Bn RBLF. The ceremony concluded with a group photo.
The objectives of the shooting competition are to enhance the weapon handling and shooting skills of the contingent and to further strengthen their collaborative teamwork as well as to encourage a healthy competition amongst the personnel. The previous BNSAAM took place in 2019.
MAJLIS PEMBUKAAN BAGI ACARA BATTALION SKILLS AT ARMS MEET 2022 BAGI BATALION KEDUA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, Jumaat, 18 Mac 2022 – Majlis Pembukaan Battalion Skills At Arms Meet 2022 (BNSAAM) telah diadakan di Padang Bola, Batalion Kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (2Bn TDDB). Perlawanan BNSAAM dijadualkan akan berlangsung bermula 21 Mac 2022 sehingga 27 Mac 2022.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat pada majlis tersebut ialah Mejar Haji Nafisal @ Dedy bin Haji Salim, Timbalan Pegawai Pemerintah 2Bn TDDB. Turut hadir pada majlis tersebut ialah Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota 2Bn TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan tabik hormat yang diketuai oleh Leftenan Ahmad Ifwat bin Ahmad Basuni selaku Ketua Kawalan dan diteruskan dengan ucapan yang disampaikan oleh tetamu kehormat. Dalam ucapan beliau, tetamu kehormat menasihatkan supaya semua peserta dapat mengambil manfaat daripada penglibatan mereka dalam BNSAAM dan menjadikan penyertaan mereka ini sebagai persiapan dalam kejohanan Land Force Skills At Arms Meet (LFSAAM) yang akan dilaksanakan pada Ogos 2022.
Majlis diteruskan lagi dengan acara suai kenal dengan Ketua-ketua Pasukan dan peserta perlawanan yang terlibat iaitu seramai 75 penembak daripada Kompeni A, Kompeni B, Kompeni C, Kompeni Pentadbir dan Kompeni Memerintah 2Bn TDDB. Majlis diakhiri dengan sesi bergambar ramai.
Objektif perlawanan menembak ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemahiran penembak-penembak dalam pengendalian dan menembak senjata serta untuk mengukuhkan lagi kerjasama sepasukan, mengenal dan menggalakkan daya saing yang sihat dikalangan penembak-penembak. Sebelum ini BNSAAM telah dikendalikan pada tahun 2019.
