PENANJONG GARRISON, Tuesday, 10 May 2022 – The Opening Ceremony for All Arm Staff and Tactic Course (AASTC) was held today at the Lecture Room School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF), Penanjong Garrison.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Azman bin Haji Bangkol, Deputy Commander of RBLF. Also present at the ceremony were Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammed Airul Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Commanding Officer SOI RBLF, Directing Staff, officers and School Sergeant Major SOI RBLF.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah At-Taubah from verses 122 to 124 led by Major Zulazri bin Haji Gapor, a course participant, followed by the guest of honour’s opening remarks and officiating of the course.
In his remarks, he advised the course participants to take this opportunity to enhance their knowledge which is useful for the implementation of operations and also as a preparation before attending higher career courses. The guest of honour also emphasised to prioritise religious approaches such as reciting Surah Yassin and holy verses of Quran before starting lessons or training programs. In addition, they are also advised to be always comply with the Standard Operating Procedure COVID 19 throughout of the course.
AASTC 2022 session is an eight-week course aimed to train RBAF officers in operational planning at the Brigade Headquarters as a Commanding Officer and Staff Officers. A total of 17 officers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) are participating in the course, amongst them are from the RBLF, Ministry of Defence and Training Institute RBAF.
MAJLIS PEMBUKAAN KURSUS ALL ARM STAFF AND TACTIC COURSE (AASTC) 2022
PENANJONG GARISON, Selasa, 10 Mei 2022 – Majlis Pembukaan Kursus All Arm Staff and Tactic Course telah berlangsung pada hari ini bertempat di Bilik Kuliah, Sekolah Infantri, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SI TDDB), Penanjong Garison.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Kolonel Azman bin Haji Bangkol, Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB. Turut dihadiri ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohammed Airul Wizam bin Haji Ahmad, Pegawai Pemerintah SI TDDB, Juruarah, Pegawai-pegawai, dan Sekolah Sarjan Mejar SI TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan Surah At-Taubah bermula ayat 122 hingga 124 yang diketuai oleh Mejar Zulazri bin Haji Gapor, peserta kursus dan diikuti dengan ucapan serta perasmian pembukaan kursus daripada tetamu kehormat majlis.
Melalui ucapan yang disampaikan, beliau menasihatkan kepada semua peserta kursus untuk mengambil peluang ini bagi mempertingkatkan ilmu pengetahuan yang sememangnya berguna dalam pelaksanaan operasi serta sebagai persediaan sebelum menghadiri kursus kerjaya yang lebih tinggi di masa akan datang. Beliau turut menekankan keutamaan pendekatan agama seperti membaca Surah Yassin dan ayat suci Al-Quran sebelum memulakan pelajaran atau program latihan. Di samping itu, peserta kursus juga dinasihatkan agar sentiasa mematuhi Standard Operating Procedure COVID 19 sepanjang kursus ini dijalankan.
Matlamat Kursus AASTC sesi 2022 yang dilaksanakan selama lapan minggu ialah untuk melatih Pegawai – pegawai ABDB dalam perancangan operasi di peringkat Markas Briged selaku Pegawai Pemerintah dan Pegawai Staf. Seramai 17 Pegawai – pegawai Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah menyertai kursus tersebut antaranya wakil dari TDDB, Kementerian Pertahanan dan Institut Latihan ABDB.
