LUMUT CAMP, Wednesday, 09 December 2020 – Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) held the opening ceremony for the Advanced Infantry Course at the Cookhouse, Lumut Camp. A total of 109 male recruits of the 166th Intake attended the course starting from 08 December 2020 until 31 December 2020. Present as the guest of honour was Major Daud bin Etim, Deputy Commanding Officer 3Bn RBLF. Also present were officers and instructors from 3Bn RBLF.
The ceremony commenced with the recital of surah Al-Fatihah followed by the RBLF pledge. It continued with the opening speech by the guest of honour and concluded with the recitation of closing doa.
The course serves to prepare and provide exposure to the course participants on the duties, roles and responsibilities as infantrymen in the RBLF.
MAJLIS PEMBUKAAN KURSUS LANJUTAN INFANTRI
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Rabu, 09 Disember 2020 – Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (3Bn TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Pembukaan Kursus Lanjutan Infantri bertempat di Rumah Masak, Perkhemahan Lumut. Seramai 109 Lepasan Rekrut Lelaki Pengambilan ke 166 mengikuti kursus berkenaan bermula 08 Disember 2020 hingga 31 Disember 2020. Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Mejar Daud bin Etim, Timbalan Pegawai Pemerintah 3Bn TDDB. Turut hadir ialah pegawai-pegawai dan jurulatih kursus dari 3Bn TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan surah Al-Fatihah dan diikuti dengan lafaz ikrar TDDB. Majlis diteruskan lagi dengan ucapan dari tetamu kehormat dan disudahi dengan bacaan doa penutup.
Kursus ini bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan dan memberikan pendedahan kepada para peserta kursus mengenai tugas, peranan dan tanggungjawab yang perlu dilaksanakan sebagai seorang anggota infantri di TDDB.
