Present as the Guest of Honour was Senior Lieutenant Colonel Ong Cher Howe, Commanding Officer of the 38th SCE and Lieutenant Colonel Haji Rony Zai bin Haji Zaini, Commanding Officer of the Support Battalion RBLF. The ceremony saw the exchange of plaque from the Commanding Officer of the 38th SCE to the Commanding Officer of the Support Battalion RBLF. In the opening ceremony, the Guest of Honour highlighted the strong relationship between the CES RBLF and the Singapore Combat Engineers. The exercise not only provides a platform for the professional exchange of Combat Engineer knowledge and skills but also allow both regional forces to work closely with one another in order to build rapport, understanding and confidence in a time while the world continues to experience uncertainty in security. The exercise will take place from 07 November 2018 and will end on 12 November 2018. This year’s exercise provides the opportunity for both regional forces to build mutual trust, respect and camaraderie through various forms of engagement and interaction. |

Singapore Armed Forces telah berlangsung di Padang Kawad 38th SCE, Kem Sungei Gedong, Republik Singapura.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat semasa upacara tersebut adalah
Senior Lieutenant
Colonel Ong Cher Howe, Pegawai Pemerintah 38 SCE dan Leftenan Kolonel Haji Rony Zai bin Haji Zaini, Pegawai Pemerintah Batalion Bantu, TDDB.
Upacara berlangsung dengan pertukaran plak daripada Pegawai Pemerintah 38 SCE kepada Pegawai Pemerintah Bn Bantu TDDB. Dalam upacara pembukaan tersebut, Tetamu Kehormat menekankan hubungan yang kuat di antara SJT Bn Bantu TDDB dan SCE, SAF. Sehubungan itu, eksesais ini memberikan peluang sebagai landasan perkongsian pengetahuan dan membolehkan kedua-dua belah tentera untuk melaksanakan tugas dengan lebih dekat bagi membina perhubungan persahabatan yang baik, kefahaman serta keyakinan di mana pergolakan dunia sekarang ini semakin mencabar terutama dalam aspek ancaman sekuriti.
Eksesais ini akan berlangsung pada 7 November 2018 dan berakhir pada 12 November 2018. Ianya memberi peluang kepada kedua-dua belah tentera untuk membina kepercayaan, saling hormat-menghormati dan mengeratkan persahabatan melalui pelbagai interaksi dan aktiviti.
