CLOSING CEREMONY OF ARMOURED PERSONNEL CARRIER CREW COMMANDER ADVANCED COURSE SESSION 2022
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 23 September 2022 – Armored Reconnaissance Squadron, Support Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (ARS Sp Bn RBLF) held the Closing Ceremony of the Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) Crew Commander Advanced Course at the Auditorium Hall, ARS Sp Bn RBLF.
FINAL PLANNING CONFERENCE FOR EXERCISE MALLEE BULL 2022
LUMUT CAMP, Thursday, 22 September 2022 – The Final Planning Conference (FPC) for Exercise Mallee Bull 2022 between Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) and the 2nd/30th Training Group Australia Army was held from 19 September 2022 until 22 August 2022 at the Officers’ Mess, Lumut Camp.
ENLIVENING OF KAMPONG SELANGAN MOSQUE WITH RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES
KAMPONG SELANGAN, Thursday, 22 September 2022 – An approach through religious activities in fostering closer relations with the local community, First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF) visited Kampong Selangan Mosque, Temburong District, to perform Maghrib and Isya’ prayers, followed by the recitation of Surah Yassin and Tahlil with the Imam of Selangan Village Mosque, Imam Mahdini bin Kamis.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF COMBAT SURVIVAL COURSE SESSION 2021
PENANJONG GARISON, Thursday, 22 September 2022 - The Jungle Warfare Training Branch of the School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF) held the Closing Ceremony of the Combat Survival Course at the Lecture Room, Block C, SOI RBLF.

LUMUT CAMP, Friday, 16 September 2022 – Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) held a Regimental Dinner Night in conjunction with the handing over of Commanding Officer 3Bn RBLF at Lumut Camp Officers’ Mess. The event was celebrated with full military regimental customs for the celebrated Officers who had served in 3Bn RBLF.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF EXERCISE MERTAK BERSATU 12/2022 BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 15 September 2022 – An annual bilateral exercise between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia, Exercise MERTAKBERSATU 12/2022 was officially closed today. This year’s exercise involved a total of 135 officers and personnel from Mortar Platoon First Battalion RBLF (1Bn RBLF), Second Battalion RBLF (2Bn RBLF), Third Battalion RBLF (3Bn RBLF) and Third Battalion of Royal Ranger Regiment (3RRD) Malaysian Army which took place at the Field Firing Area (FFA), Binturan Range, Penanjong Garrison.
COMMANDER RBLF RECEIVES INTRODUCTORY CALL FROM NIGERIAN AND INDIAN DEFENCE ADVISER TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 15 September 2022 – Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) received two respective courtesy calls this morning at the RBLF Headquarters, from Air Commodore Ehimen Aidemoata Ejodame, Nigerian Defence Adviser and from Colonel Sanjeev Vijaykumar Sarma, Indian Defence Adviser. Both are Non-Resident Defence Advisers based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia accredited to Brunei Darussalam.
2nd TECHNICAL WORKING MEETING OF THE ASEAN REGIONAL MINE ACTION CENTRE
Phnom Penh, 13 September 2022 - The 2nd Technical Working Group (TWG) Meeting of the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Centre (ARMAC) convened in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from 13 – 14 September 2022. Present at the meeting was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Assistant Chief of Staff (Personnel and Administration) Royal Brunei Land Force HQ in his capacity as the Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to ARMAC.
OPENING CEREMONY OF EXERCISE MERTAK BERSATU SIRI 12/2022
TUTONG CAMP, Monday 12 September 2022 – The opening ceremony of the Exercise MERTAK BERSATU SIRI 12/2022 was held today at the Parade Square, Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF). The exercise will take place from 10 September 2022 until 19 September 2022, involving a total of 135 officers and personnel from the First Battalion RBLF (1Bn RBLF), Second Battalion RBLF (2Bn RBLF), Third Battalion RBLF (3Bn RBLF) and Third Battalion of Royal Ranger Regiment (3RRD) Malaysian Army.
GOLF COMPETITION IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DIAMOND JUBILEE ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE ANNIVERSARY
SERIA, Saturday, 10 September 2022 – Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held a Golf Competition in conjunction with the Diamond Jubilee RBLF Anniversary Celebrations, today at the Panaga Golf Club, Seria. A total of 42 players competed in five categories contested in this competition.
ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE HELD TREE PLANTING EVENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RBAF 61ST ANNIVERSARY
LUMUT CAMP, FRIDAY, 09 SEPTEMBER 2022 – The Third Battalion of the Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) held a Tree Planting Event this afternoon in conjunction with the 61st Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) at Lumut Camp. The event was held concurrently across all RBAF camps, with the primary focus at Bolkiah Garrison.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF MORTAR OFFICER COURSE, SECOND IN COMMNAD MORTAR COURSE, MORTAR FIRE CONTROLLER COURSE AND COMMAND POST OPERATOR COURSE
PENANJONG CAMP, Friday, 09 September 2022 – The closing ceremony for the Mortar Officer Course, Mortar Warrant Officer Course, Mortar Fire Controller Course (MFC) and Command Post Operator (CPO) course 2022 took place today at the School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF) Headquarters. A total of 15 RBLF personnel successfully completed the course conducted from 18 July 2022 until 09 September 2022.

LUMUT CAMP, Friday, 09 September 2022 – The handover and takeover Parade Ceremony of the Land Force Sargent Major (LFSM) was held today at the Third Battalion RBLF (3Bn RBLF) Parade Square, Lumut Camp. Present to witness the ceremony was Senior Non-Commissioned Officer and personnel of RBLF.
ROYAL GUARD REGIMENT RBLF HOLDS THE SECOND FAMILY DAY EVENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
SUNGAI AKAR CAMP, Thursday, 08 September 2022 – Perwira Company, Pahlawan Company together with Hulubalang Company of Royal Guard Regiment Royal Brunei Land Force (RGdR RBLF) organised the second Family Day Event after the first event conducted by Panglima Company RGdR RBLF on 03 Sept 2022 in conjunction with second term school holidays today at the Sungai Akar Camp.
ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE ORIENTEERING COMPETITION 2022/2023
PERPINDAHAN BUKIT BERUANG, Thursday, 8 September 2022 – Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held an Orienteering Competition at the Dewan Kemasyarakatan Bukit Beruang, Tutong. Four main categories were contested which included two categories for male personnel and two categories for female personnel.
