SCHOOL OF MILITARY ENGINEER, ENGINEER REGIMENT RBLF CONDUCTS IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICE AWARENESS WORKSHOP FOR MARITIME AND PORT AUTHORITY BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
MUARA, Thursday, 15 August 2024 – The School of Military Engineer, Engineer Regiment Royal Brunei Land Force (SOME Engr Regt RBLF) conducted a one-day Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Awareness Workshop in Maritime Security attended by 50 Port Facility Security officers and staff of the Maritime Security Section, Maritime and Port Authority Brunei Darussalam (MSS MPABD) held at the MPABD Headquarters, Muara.
ALL ARMS STAFF AND TACTICS COURSE (AASTC) 2024 CLOSING CEREMONY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 15 August 2024 – The closing ceremony for the All Arms Staff and Tactics Course (AASTC) 2024 was held at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison. A total of six Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) officers and one officer from the Malaysia Army had successfully completed the 8-weeks course from 18th June 2024 until 15th August 2024 by the School of Infantry (SOI) RBLF. Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of the RBLF. Also in attendance were the Director of Personnel from the Ministry of Defence, Defence Adviser of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam, Acting Field Commander of RBLF as well as RBLF Senior Officers and officers.
A STUDY VISIT FROM THE DEWAN BAHASA AND PUSTAKA LIBRARY
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday, 14 August 2024 – The Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) received a delegation from the Dewan Bahasa and Pustaka Library Bandar Seri Begawan in conjunction with the second term school holiday activities. A total of 56 members consisting of school students and library staff visited the Medical Services Headquarters RBLF, Bolkiah Garrison.
GRADUATION CERTIFICATE PRESENTED TO ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE PERSONNEL AT THE 36th UNIVERSITI BRUNEI DARUSSALAM CONVOCATION
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Monday, 12 August 2024 – His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Chancellor of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), consented to grace the 36th Convocation Ceremony of UBD and presented certificates to graduates held at the Chancellor Hall, UBD. His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Pro-Chancellor of UBD, also attended the ceremony.
COMMANDER ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE VISITS TO ALL ARMS STAFF AND TACTICS COURSE
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 9th August 2024 – Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) visited the All Arms Staff and Tactics Course (AASTC) 2024 at the Signal Training Wing, RBLF School of Infantry RBLF (SOI RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. A total of seven officers including one officer from the Malaysian Army are attending the course.

TILAWAH MUSABAQAH AL-QUR’AN IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE 62nd ANNIVERSARY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 08th August 2024 – The Tilawah Musabaqah Al-Quran competition in conjunction with the 62nd Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), was held at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison. Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of RBLF and were also joined by the Deputy Commander of RBLF, Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of RBLF.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sunday, 4th August 2024 – His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the Royal Family members consented to participate in the Riadah Berbasikal Keputeraan 2024 in conjunction with His Majesty’s 78th Birthday Celebrations held at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien, Bandar Seri Begawan.
THE BASIC INFANTRY COURSE CLOSING CEREMONY
LUMUT CAMP, Friday, 2nd August 2024 – The Closing Ceremony of the Basic Infantry Course Series 4/2024 was held at Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Lumut Camp. The ceremony marked the culmination of 12-weeks course of intensive training for 107 participants which was conducted from 13th May 2024 to 2nd August 2024. Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Acting Field Commander of the RBLF was present as the Guest of Honour. Also in attendance were Major Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of School of Infantry RBLF, invited Officers, Regiment Sergeant Majors and Course Instructors.
WATCHKEEPER COURSE SERIES 1/2024 CLOSING CEREMONY
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 2nd August 2024 – The Closing Ceremony of the Watchkeeper Course Series 1/2024 was held at the School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. A total of 30 participants have completed the course consisting of 19 personnel from RBLF, two from Joint Force Headquarters Royal Brunei Armed Forces, eight from Special Force Regiment RBAF and one from Defence Academy RBAF, which was conducted from 16th July 2024 to 2nd August 2024 by the Signal Training Wing, SOI RBLF. Present as the Guest of Honour was Major Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of SOI RBLF and were also attended by Officers and personnel of SOI RBLF, School Sergeant Major, and Head of Training Wings and Instructors.

SESSION WITH COMMANDER ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE AND PARTICIPANTS OF THE BASIC INFANTRY COURSE SERIES 4/2024
LUMUT CAMP, Tuesday, 30th July 2024 – Brigadier General Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) had a session with the Basic Infantry Course Series 4/2024 participants held at the Third Battalion (3Bn) RBLF, Lumut Camp. A total of 107 course participants from Intake 173 are currently attending the course, which commenced from 13th May until 2nd August 2024.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 26th July 2024 – The First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF) held promotion ceremonies for its Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and Junior NCOs , which was held at Berakas Garrison.
LOGISTICS STORE WORKSHOP CLOSING CEREMONY
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 26th July 2024 – A Closing Ceremony for the Logistics Store Workshop was held at the Ibnu Sina Hall, Bolkiah Garrison. A total of 31 personnel from the Medical Services Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) participated in the workshop from 22nd to 26th July 2024, organised by the Logistics Training Wing, School of Military Trade, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF).
