CLEANING CAMPAIGN AT KAMPUNG MERANGKING MOSQUE
MERANGKING, Friday, 21st February 2025 – The Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) together with the residents of Kampung Merangking held a cleaning campaign at Kampung Merangking Mosque. The campaign involved 10 personnel from 3Bn RBLF, members of the Kampung Merangking Mosque Takmir, and the local residents. This joint effort is aimed to maintain a clean and conducive environment for performing prayers, while further strengthen relationships with the community.
DOA KESYUKURAN IN CONJUNCTION WITH HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE CROWN PRINCE 51ST BIRTHDAY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Sunday, 16th February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony in conjunction with His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, 51st birthday at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison. Present were Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Acting Commander RBLF, Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of RBLF. Similar events were also conducted at all RBLF Suraus including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque.
COMMEMORATING NISFU SYA’BAN 1446 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 13th February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) observed Nisfu Sya’ban 1446 Hijrah with mass prayers and recitations of Surah Yaasin, held simultaneously at all RBLF Suraus including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque with the main event taking place at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison. In attendance were Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Acting Commander RBLF, Senior Officers, Officers and personnel of RBLF.
DISTRIBUTION OF DATES AS A PERSONAL GIFT FROM HIS MAJESTY THE SULTAN AND YANG DI-PERTUAN OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
BERAKAS GARRISON, Khamis, 13th February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held a ceremony for the Distribution of Dates, as a Personal Gift from His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, in conjunction with the upcoming month of Ramadhan 1446 Hijrah/2025 Masihi. In attendance to distribute the dates to representatives from various RBLF sub-units was Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, RBLF Acting Commander, held at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison.
CLEANING CAMPAIGN AT KAMPUNG SUNGAI TERABAN MOSQUE
SUNGAI TERABAN, Tuesday, 11th February 2025 – Personal and environment cleanliness is highly demanded by Islam, especially in places of worship such as mosques. Together with the mosque committee members, the Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) with the involvement of 22 personnel led by Lieutenant Muhammad Naqiuddin bin Haji Sijon from ‘A’ Company, has conducted a cleaning campaign at Kampung Sungai Teraban Mosque recently. This initiative is aimed to ensure a pristine and welcoming environment for worshippers, while also fostering a sense of shared responsibility and strengthening community bonds.
THIRD BATTALION PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO RURAL HEALTH CLINIC SERVICES
BELAIT, Tuesday, 11th February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) has extended its support to the Ministry of Health’s Rural Health Clinic Service, ensuring healthcare accessibility for remote communities. Medical staff and equipment had been transported from Sungai Liang Health Clinic to Kampung Melilas Longhouse and Kampung Sukang Health Clinic in the Belait District, with the assistance of personnel from the Third Battalion, RBLF. This service facilitates health check-ups for residents in these isolated areas, including those with mobility issues. The RBLF’s ongoing commitment reflects its readiness to serve the nation and provide essential assistance whenever needed.
INTRODUCTORY CALL FROM NIGERIAN DEFENCE ADVISER ACCREDITED TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday, 10th February 2025 – Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Acting Commander Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) today received an introductory call from Air Vice Marshall Razaq Kolawole Shittu, the Nigerian Defence Adviser accredited to Brunei Darussalam, held at the RBLF Headquarters, Berakas Garrison.
FIRST BATTALION CONDUCTS MOSQUE CLEANING CAMPAIGN
LAMBAK KANAN, Sunday, 09th February 2025 - The First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (1Bn RBLF) conducted a cleaning campaign at Perpindahan Lambak Kanan Mosque today. Joining the activity was Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Ridzamfaizal bin Pengiran Haji Salleh, Commanding Officer 1Bn RBLF with the involvement of 44 personnel led by Major Mohammad Syahril Amin bin Pehin Dato Paduka Haji Abdu’r Rahmani, Officer Commanding of Admin Company 1Bn RBLF along with 26 mosque committee members.
RBLF CHAMPIONS IN RBAF WATER POLO FINALS 2024/2025
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 7th February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Swimming and Water Polo Finals 2024/2025 was held at the Sports Complex, Rimba Air Force Base, with the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) emerged as champion in the Water Polo Championship after defeating the Combined Team from the Ministry of Defence, scoring 4-2, marking the Combined Team from the Ministry of Defence in the second place while Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) came in Third. As for the Swimming Championship finals, the RBLF secured the second place with a total of 5 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals, and the RBN as well as the Combined Team Ministry of Defence came first and third respectively.
ENGINEER REGIMENT 1ST ANNIVERSARY REGIMENTAL DINNER
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 07th February 2025 – The Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (Engr Regt RBLF) celebrated its first anniversary with a regimental dinner held at the Officers’ Mess, Penanjong Garrison. Attending the event was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Engr Regt Commanding Officer, officers and respective spouses.
ARMED FORCES SERGEANT MAJOR LEADERSHIP SESSION
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 06th February 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Senior and Junior Non-Commissioned Officers had the opportunity to attend a leadership talk delivered by Warrant Officer 1 Rozain bin Haji Pungut, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Sergeant Major held at three separate sessions.
DENTAL INDUCTION COURSE AND DENTAL INTERMEDIATE COURSE COMPLETED
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 6th February 2025 – A total of 10 personnel and two civilian staff from Dental Services Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) had recently completed the Dental Induction Course and Dental Intermediate Course in a closing event held at Bilik Rahang, Dental Services RBLF Headquarters, Berakas Garrison. In attendance to officiate the closing was Colonel Dr Jefri bin Haji Abdul Razak, the RBLF Chief Dental Services.
ENGINEER REGIMENT FIRST ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 03 February 2025 – The Engineer Regiment Royal Brunei Land Forces (Engr Regt RBLF) celebrated its first anniversary with a parade involving 127 personnel held at the Field RBLF Parade Square, Penanjong Garrison. Upon arrival, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Engr Regt RBLF Commanding Officer received an honorary salute from the parade, commanded by Major Haji Md Khairi bin Haji Abdul Latif, Officer Commanding of the Second Squadron Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Explosive Defence (2Sqn CBRE Def).
POST-FLOOD CLEANING CAMPAIGN AT PANAGA PRIMARY SCHOOL
BELAIT, Sunday, 02 February 2025 – Following the adverse weather conditions affecting Brunei Darussalam have resulted in flooding at several locations including the Belait District. In response, the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) together with the local authorities are stepping up to support those affected by providing manpower assistance.
CHILDREN’S DENTAL SERVICES LAUNCHED
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 31st January 2025 – The Dental Services Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) has officially launched Children’s Dental Services at the Dental Centre, Rimba Air Force Base, attended by Colonel (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
