A STUDY VISIT FROM PENGIRAN ANAK PUTERI HAJAH SA’ADATUL BOLKIAH SECONDARY SCHOOL
LUMUT CAMP, Thursday, 12th June 2025 - Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) received an educational visit from Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Secondary School, Lumut with a group of 27 students and accompanied by six teachers at Lumut Camp.
INTERMEDIATE CLERK COURSE OFFICIALLY CONCLUDED
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 12th June 2025 – The Intermediate Clerk Course officially came to an end with a closing event held at Dewan Al-Wafrah, Field Company Headquarters, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) in Penanjong Garrison. In attendance to present the certificates was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Hamerolazmi bin Haji Abdul Latip, Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel and Administration (ACOS G1), RBLF Headquarters.
DENTAL SERVICES CELEBRATED 53rd ANNIVERSARY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 11th June 2025 – The Dental Services Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) celebrated its 53rd anniversary with a parade held at the Dental Services Headquarters, Berakas Garrison. Upon arrival, Colonel (Dr) Jefri bin Haji Abdul Razak, RBLF Chief Dental Services (CDS) received an honorary salute from the parade, commanded by Major (Dr) Muhammad Nur Azwan bin Arrif, Muara Naval Base Dental Officer.
KORBAN CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH HARI RAYA AIDIL ADHA 1446 HIJRAH
BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday, 10th June 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) marked the Hari Raya Aidil Adha 1446 Hijrah with a Korban Ceremony held simultaneously across all RBLF camps with the main event took place at Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garrison.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Saturday, 7th June 2025 – Brunei Darussalam celebrated the annual Hari Raya Aidil Adha 1446 Hijrah with Sunat Hari Raya Aidil Adha prayers at all mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide. The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) also held the event simultaneously at all RBLF Suraus including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque with the focal event held at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 6th June 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held the Takbir Raya Aidil Adha 1446 Hijrah/2025 Masihi, which took place simultaneously at all RBLF suraus, including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque with the main event at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison. In attendance at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison was Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Acting Commander of RBLF along with Senior Officers, Officers and RBLF personnel.

Captain (Navy) Gokhan Gulbiten was warmly welcomed by Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Acting Commander of RBLF, at the RBLF Headquarters today.
RBLF OFFICER GRADUATED WITH DOCTOR OF PUBLIC HEALTH
BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA, Tuesday, 03rd June 2025 — Lieutenant Dr Wan Nurul Naszeerah binti Mohammed Zainal Abidin Ariff of the Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), has recently completed a four-year Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) programme at the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health, United States of America. The academic hood was formally conferred during the university’s official hooding ceremony by Professor Layla Kwong, Chair of her dissertation committee.
DOA KESYUKURAN CEREMONY TO MARK ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES 64th ANNIVERSARY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 30 May 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with the Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 64th anniversary celebration on 31st May 2025. The ceremony took place simultaneously at all RBLF suraus, including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque, with the main event at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison.

156 RBLF PERSONNEL RECEIVED LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL (MILITARY)
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 23 May 2025 – With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a total of 156 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) personnel, consisting both in-service and retired personnel, were conferred with the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (Military). In attendance to present the medal was Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, held at the Nikmat Hall, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Penanjong Garrison.
15th ADMM-PLUS EXPERTS’ WORKING GROUP ON HUMANITARIAN MINE ACTION
MOSCOW, RUSSIAN FEDERATION, Thursday, 22 May 2025 – The 15th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus) Experts’ Working Group on Humanitarian Mine Action (EWG on HMA) was held at the Patriot Expo in Moscow, Russian Federation from 21st May 2025 to 24th May 2025. Representing the Ministry of Defence of Brunei Darussalam as the Head of Delegation was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Hussin, Commanding Officer Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces. Also present was Abdul Azim bin Haji Abd Kassim, Research Officer, Directorate of Defence Policy.
BASIC COMMUNICATION INFORMATION SYSTEM COURSE COMPLETED
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 16th May 2025 – The Basic Communication Information System course has successfully concluded with a closing event held at the School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. The 10-week course was conducted from 10th March 2025 to 16th May 2025 with the participation of 27 personnel from the RBLF, Royal Brunei Air Force and Joint Force Headquarters Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). In attendance to officiate the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of SOI.
ACTING COMMANDER RBLF ATTENDED THE LAND FORCES OF THE PACIFIC SYMPOSIUM AND EXPOSITION 2025
HONOLULU, Thursday, 15 May 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) delegation led by Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, the Acting Commander of RBLF had attended the 12th Land Forces Pacific (LANPAC) Symposium and Exposition in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States of America. The event was held from 13th to 15th May 2025, which involved the participation of more than 33 countries organised by The Association of the United States Army (AUSA). This year’s theme entitled “Prevailing Through Landpower” highlights the critical role of land forces in the Indo-Pacific region, particularly emphasising the Army’s focus on deterrence through readiness and partnerships in preserving peace, stability and security.
