THIRD BATTALION PROVIDES ASSISTANCE FOR REMOTE SCHOOLS IN BELAIT DISTRICT
LABI, Monday, 28th July 2025 – The Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) extended its support by providing transportation and manpower assistance for the relocation of school equipment involving three remote schools in the Belait District namely Melilas Primary School, Dato Maharaja Setia Dian Sukang Primary School, and Orang Kaya Besar Pahlawan Bukit Sawat Primary School.
2BN RBLF JOINS CHARITY WALKATHON
AMPONG PENAPAR, Sunday, 27th July 2025 – The Takmir Committee of Kampong Penapar Mosque, Tutong, held a Charity Walkathon, with the participation of 32 personnel from the Second Battalion of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF). In attendance as the Guest of Honour was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Jumaat, 25th July 2025 – A total of 166 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) personnel from the RBLF Headquarters (HQ), Field HQ, First, Second and Third Battalion, Engineer Regiment, School of Infantry and the Royal Guard Regiment RBLF were promoted in an event held at respective units.
STRENGTHENING HEALTH LITERACY EFFORTS IN NATIONAL DIABETES INITIATIVE
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Thursday, 24th July 2025 – The Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), in collaboration with the Health Promotion Centre, Ministry of Health, facilitated a focus group discussion (FGD) as part of the pre-testing phase for a national initiative to develop a health education booklet for patients with Type 2 diabetes. Leading the FGD from RBLF was Lieutenant Colonel (Dr) Norasiah binti Haji Ahmad, Senior Medical Officer of RBLF Medical Services, while Siti Khadizah Fakhriah binti Haji Bakri from the Ministry of Health, as the Health Literacy Initiative Lead at the Health Promotion Centre.
SECOND BATTALION ORIENTEERING COMPETITION
TUTONG CAMP, Wednesday, 23 July 2025 - The Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) organised an inter-units Orienteering Competition held at Tutong Camp. A total of six teams participated in the competition consisting of the 2Bn RBLF Headquarters, ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ Company, Admin Company, and Support Company. Major Mohammad Sufrien bin Johan, 2Bn Commanding Officer, also participated in the competition.
COMBAT BOAT SQUADRON 14TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Muara Base, Tuesday, 22nd July 2025 – The Combat Boat Squadron, Royal Brunei Land Forces (CBS RBLF) celebrated its 14th anniversary with a parade involving 41 personnel held at the Combat Boat Squadron, Muara Base. Present at the event was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, RBLF Field Commander.

BACHELOR OF HEALTH SCIENCE DENTISTRY WORK PLACEMENT AT THE DENTAL SERVICES ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCES
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 18 July 2025 – The Bachelor of Health Sciences (Dentistry) undergraduates from the Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) has recently ended their work placement at the Dental Services Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF).
ADVANCED MEDICAL ASSISTANT COURSE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 18th July 2025 – The closing ceremony for the Medical Assistant Advanced A1 course was held at the Ibnu Sina Lecture Hall, Medical Services Headquarters, Bolkiah Garrison. A total of 20 participants from the Medical and Health Services, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), Performance Optimisation Centre (POC) Ministry of Defence, and Special Forces Regiment (SFR) completed the 14-week course which was held from 18th April 2025 to 18th July 2025.
RBLF OFFICER GRADUATES WITH FIRST CLASS HONOURS IN DENTAL TECHNOLOGY DEGREE
CARDIFF, UNITED KINGDOM, Thursday, 17th July 2025 — Captain Sheikh Nazry bin Sheikh Hassan from the Dental Services Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) has completed a three-year Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Dental Technology degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University, United Kingdom, graduating with First-Class Honours. The graduation ceremony was held at the Wales Millennium Centre.
NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS’ LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT COURSE CONCLUDED
TUTONG CAMP, Wednesday, 16th July 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) Leadership and Management Course has come to an end with a closing event held at Ar-Rizki Hall, Second Battalion RBLF in Tutong Camp. The four-week course ran from 16th June to 11th July 2025 involved a total of 100 participants from various RBLF units. In attendance to officiate the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Field Commander of RBLF.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tueday, 15th July 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) participated in the Grand Parade in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 79th birthday celebration, held at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien.
DOA KESYUKURAN CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH HIS MAJESTY THE SULTAN AND YANG DI-PERTUAN OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM’S 79TH BIRTHDAY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Monday, 14th July 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony in conjunction with the 79th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony was held simultaneously at all RBLF suraus, including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque, with the focal event taking place at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison. Present at the ceremony was Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, RBLF Chief of Staff, alongside Senior Officers, Officers, and personnel of the RBLF.
ILAL HIJRAH 1447 CELEBRATION
BANGAR CAMP, Friday, 11th July 2025 – The Ilal Hijrah 1447 celebration was among the Ministry of Defence annual activities to glorify major Islamic events. The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) also celebrated the event simultaneously in various RBLF suraus including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque. Present at Surau Al-Quwwah, Bangar Camp, Temburong was Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Acting Commander of RBLF. Also in attendance were Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer, and Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council and Village Head of Kampong Labu Estate and Piasau-Piasau as well as the Acting Penghulu of Zone 1 Mukim, Temburong District.
DENTAL SERVICES WELCOMES NEW SERGEANT MAJOR
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 11 July 2025 – The Dental Services Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) welcomed its new Sergeant Major in a ceremony held at the RBLF Dental Services Headquarters in Berakas Garrison. The ceremony marks the official handover from the outgoing Dental Services Sergeant Major (DSSM), Warrant Officer Two Haji Mohammad Khairul Ardy bin Haji Januddin, to the newly appointed DSSM, Warrant Officer Two Mohammad Qamarul Sallehin bin Haji Jasni.
