GEMA MARHABAN IN COMMEMORATION OF THE BIRTH OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) 1447 HIJRAH
TUTONG CAMP, Thursday, 28th August 2025 – The Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) held Dikir Maulud as part of the Ministry of Defence’s ‘Gema Marhaban Dalam‘ programme in commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 1447 Hijrah. In attendance as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, RBLF Commander, along with Senior Officers from the Ministry of Defence, held at Surau Pengiran Ratna Indera, Tutong Camp.
TITIAN AMAL PROJECT HANDOVER CEREMONY
KAMPONG SUKANG, Thursday, 28th August 2025 – The Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) held a handover ceremony for the Titian Amal Project in conjunction with RBLF 63rd Anniversary, which took place at the Balai Ibadat Kampong Sukang, Belait District. The ceremony was officiated by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Fakarudin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Field Commander of RBLF.
RBLF HALF MARATHON EVENTS
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 28th August 2025 – Sub-units under the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) successfully organised half marathon events, conducted concurrently at Berakas and Penanjong Garrison. The events were co-hosted by the First Battalion (1Bn RBLF), Combat Service Support (CSS RBLF), and the Royal Guard Regiment (RGdR RBLF) at Berakas Garrison, while the Field Headquarters and Engineer Regiment (Engr Regt) RBLF) held the event at Penanjong Garrison.
BASIC CLERK COURSE SERIES 1/2025 CONCLUDED
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 28th August 2025 – The Basic Clerk Course Series 1/2025 has come to an end with a closing event held at Dewan Al-Wafrah, Field Company Headquarters, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) in Penanjong Garrison. The five-week course conducted from 25th July to 29th August 2025 comprised of 32 personnel from various RBLF sub-units. Officiating the closing was Major Mohammad Ubaidy bin Umbu, Assistant Chief of Staff Finance, RBLF Headquarters, who presented certificates and awards to the course participants.
EXERCISE CARAT 31/2025 MID-PLANNING CONFERENCE
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday, 27th August 2025 - The Mid-Planning Conference (MPC) for Exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 31/2025 was held from 26 to 27 August 2025 at Radisson Hotel, Bandar Seri Begawan. The conference brought together representatives from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and the United States Navy (USN) to discuss on the overall plan of the upcoming exercise. Representing the RBLF at the conference were Major Khairul Azme bin Haji Mohidin, Staff Officer Grade 2 Training, Field Headquarters RBLF, and Captain Pengiran Mohd Nurul Ismail bin Pengiran Sani, Head of Plant Troop, 3 Squadron Engineers Regiment RBLF.
STRENGTHENING RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH MEDIA DAY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 27th August 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) hosted Second Session of Media Day 2025, which was held at Berakas Garrison. A total of 49 Public Relations Liaisons, personnel, and representatives from various units under the Ministry of Defence, as well as local media partners such as Balai Kenangan, Radio Television Brunei, Information Department and Pelita Brunei, attended the Media Day.
RBLF WIVES’ WELFARE BODY (BAKTI TDDB) ATTENDED DIKIR MAULUD CEREMONY
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday, 26th August 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Wives’ Welfare Body attended a Dikir Maulud ceremony in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul 1447 Hijrah held at the Surau Wanita Istana Nurul Iman. Leading the delegation was Pengiran Noor Hafidzah binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad, the spouse of the Commander of the RBLF, along with other members of RBLF BAKTI.
RBLF COMMANDER ATTENDS DIKIR MAULUD
SUNGAI AKAR CAMP, Tuesday, 26th August 2025 – In conjunction with the celebration of Maulidur Rasul 1447 Hijrah, Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces attended the Dikir Maulud event at the Bilik Ibadat, Royal Guards Regiment Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) in Sungai Akar Camp.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Sunday, 24th August 2025 – To commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and express gratitude and love for the Prophet as well as to seek blessings from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held the opening of Dikir Maulud 1447 Hijrah simultaneously at all RBLF suraus including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque with the main event at Surau Al-Fa’izun, Berakas Garrison. Present at the event was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the RBLF along with Senior Officers, Officers and RBLF personnel.
BRUNEI-SINGAPORE JUNIOR DEFENCE INTERACTION PROGRAMME
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Friday, 22nd August 2025 – Major Muhd. Zulwafi bin Haji M. Suhaili, Officer Commanding from ‘C’ Company, Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), together with officers from the Ministry of Defence Brunei Darussalam had attended the Brunei-Singapore Junior Defence Interaction Programme (JDIP) held at the Republic of Singapore from 19th to 21st August 2025.
BASIC FAST BOAT HANDLING COURSE
MUARA, Friday, 22nd August 2025 – A total of 7 Royal Brunei Land Forces’ (RBLF) personnel have completed the Basic Fast Boat Handling Course, which was held from 4th August to 22nd August 2025. The closing ceremony was officiated by Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Suwardi Ariffin bin Pehin Datu Laksamana Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Latiff, Chief of Staff of the Joint Force, Royal Brunei Armed Forces, held at the Marine Police, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) in Muara. Also in attendance was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Field Chief of Staff, RBLF.
PASSING OUT PARADE CEREMONY FOR THE 177TH INTAKE MALE RECRUITS OF THE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 22nd August 2025 – A total of 195 male recruits of the 177th intake have successfully concluded their Basic Military Training with a Passing Out Parade Ceremony held this morning at the Parade Square of the Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF), Penanjong Garrison. Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Brigadier General Aldi Bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF). Also, in attendance were Deputy Service Commanders, senior officers, officers, personnel from the Ministry of Defence and spouses, families and guardians of the graduating recruits.
KERINGAT SATRIA EXERCISE
KAMPONG MARIAM, Thursday, 21st August 2025 – The School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF) conducted KERINGAT SATRIA Exercise at Kampong Mariam, Temburong District, from 16th to 21stAugust 2025 as part of the Company Commander and Section Commander Battle Courses. The exercise involved a total of 52 course participants, which aimed to enhance their leadership skills, decision-making, and tactical planning abilities in various operational scenarios.
BLOOD DONATION DRIVE IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBAF 64TH ANNIVERSARY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 20 August 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) organised a Blood Donation Drive in conjunction with the 64th anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), held at the Berakas Garrison Gymnasium. The campaign was held in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre, Department of Laboratory Services Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital, Ministry of Health, with additional support from Imagine Sdn Bhd.
OFFICER CADET SCHOOL INTAKE 24 VISIT TO RBLF
PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 18th August 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) welcomed a visit from the Officer Cadet School (OCS), Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF), held at the Armoured Reconnaissance Squadron (ARS) RBLF, Penanjong Garrison. The programme, which comprised both morning and afternoon sessions, involved a total of 22 Land Forces Officer Cadets from Intake 24 led by Captain Muhammad Hafiz bin Haji Hassan, Platoon Commander of OCS DA RBAF.
