PARACOUNSELOR PREPARATORY COURSE
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday, 6th October 2025 - Captain Pengiran Muhd Faaiz bin Pengiran Haji Ali and Sergeant Khairul Haziman bin Suhaili from the Engineer Regiment Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), and Sergeant Muhd Firdaus bin Abd Karim from the Field Headquarters Quartermaster RBLF, have completed the Paracounselor Preparatory Course conducted by Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) PRIHATIN Centre, from 4th September to 6th October 2025.
2BN RBLF PARTICIPATES IN THE GET-TOGETHER FOR HIS MAJESTY’S 79TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
TUTONG DISTRICT, Saturday, 4th October 2025 – The Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) joined together with the citizens and residents of Tutong District to greet His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam for a Get-Together in conjunction with His Majesty’s 79th Birthday celebrations held at the Padang Pentas Diraja, Tutong District.
RBLF PERSONNEL COMPLETED ENGINEER PIONEER (PLANT) COURSE
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Saturday, 4th October 2025 – Two personnel from the Third Squadron, Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), had successfully completed the Engineer Pioneer (Plant) Course conducted by the Engineer Training Institute (ETI) at Nee Soon Camp, Republic of Singapore, from 18th August to 3rd October 2025.
REGIONAL WORKSHOP ON SAFETY AND NUCLEAR SECURITY CULTURE VALUES AND APPROACHES
YOGYAKARTA, REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA, Friday, 3rd October 2025 – Captain Pengiran Muhammad Masduqi bin Pengiran Haji Damit, Second-in-Command of the Second Squadron Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Explosive, Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (2 Sqn CBRE Engr Regt RBLF), along with one officer from the Royal Brunei Police Force, had participated in a five-day Regional Workshop on Safety and Nuclear Security Culture Values and Approaches held in Yogyakarta, Republic of Indonesia, from 29th September to 3rd October 2025.
INTERMEDIATE STAFF COURSE 25/2025 CLOSING CEREMONY
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 2nd October 2025 – A total of eight officers from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) had successfully completed the Intermediate Staff Course (ISC) 25/2025 in a closing ceremony held at the Auditorium of Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF). This year, the course participants comprised 45 officers, namely 40 from the RBAF, one from the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), and four international military officers from the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, who attended the 14-week course from 30th June to 3rd October 2025.
CYBERCRIME AWARENESS
BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday, 30th September 2025 – The Combat Service Support Royal Brunei Land Forces (CSS RBLF), in collaboration with the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) held a two-day Cybercrime awareness talk, which took place at Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garrison. The talk was delivered by Chief Inspector Adinin bin Haji Ahmad, Cyber Investigation Officer of the Anti-Scam Centre (ASC) from Cyber Crime Investigation RBPF. In attendance was Lieutenant Colonel Arshahrin bin Haji Arif, Deputy Commandant of the CSS RBLF, along with officers, personnel, and civilian staff from RBLF sub-units.
2BN RBLF PLATOON COMPETITION CONCLUDED
TUTONG CAMP, Tuesday, 30th September 2025 — The Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) concluded its Platoon Competition, held from 5th August to 20th September 2025, with a prize presentation and closing ceremony. The closing was officiated by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, RBLF Field Commander, at Tutong Camp.
THE COMPLETION OF UNIFIL FORCE INTEGRATION TRAINING (FIT)
PORT DICKSON, NEGERI SEMBILAN, MALAYSIA, Monday, 29 September 2025 – A total of 21 personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), comprising 4 officers and 17 other ranks, completed the seven-week Force Integration Training (FIT) in preparation for their upcoming deployment under the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) as part of the Malaysian Battalion (MALBATT) 850-13. The FIT concluded with a closing ceremony held at the MALBATT Village, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, officiated by Major General Datuk Mohamed Fauzi bin Kamis, the Chief of Staff, Joint Forces Headquarters. Also in attendance was Lieutenant Colonel Rudie Asmawi bin Abidin, Defence Adviser of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia.
SENIOR GUNNERY INSTRUCTOR END OF COURSE
PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 29th September 2025 – The Armoured Reconnaissance Squadron, Royal Brunei Land Forces (ARS RBLF), held the closing event for the Senior Gunnery Instructor (SGI) course at the ARS Auditorium Hall, Penanjong Garrison. A total of seven personnel attended the seven-week course from 4th August 2025 until 19th September 2025. Present to officiate the closing was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Chief of Staff, Field Headquarters, RBLF.
RBLF OFFICER ATTENDS IPU APES 2025
GUAM, Friday, 27 September 2025 – Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, Commanding Officer of the Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), along with two officers from the Royal Brunei Air Force and the Directorate of Development and Work Services, had attended the Indo-Pacific Unity Allies and Partners Engineer Summit 2025 (IPU APES 2025) from 22nd to 26th September 2025 in Guam.
“GEMPUR PERWIRA BINTARA” CHALLENGE AND NOVELTY SHOOT COMPETITION
TUTONG CAMP, Thursday, 25th September 2025 – The Special Task Platoon from the Support Company, Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) successfully organised the “Gempur Perwira Bintara” Challenge and the 10-metre Individual Novelty Shoot Competition held at the 20 metres Shooting Range, Tutong Camp. Participating in the event and presenting the prizes was Major Mohammad Sufrien bin Johan, the Commanding Officer of 2Bn RBLF.
CSS RBLF HOSTS AWARENESS TALK
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 25th September 2025 – The Combat Service Support Royal Brunei Land Forces (CSS RBLF) hosted a two-day awareness talk in collaboration with the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), held at Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garrison. In attendance were Lieutenant Colonel Azhar bin Matzan, Commandant of the CSS RBLF, officers, personnel, and civilian staff from RBLF sub-units. The talk was delivered by Inspector Nurul Hakimah binti Haji Yakob and Probation Inspector Maziah binti Mahusin, from the Women and Children Investigation Unit, RBPF.
RBLF ATTENDS THE 14TH IPACC, 49TH IPAMS AND 11TH SELF 2025
KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, 25th September 2025 – Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) led the RBLF delegation, at the 14th Indo-Pacific Armies Chiefs Conference (IPACC), the 49th Indo-Pacific Armies Management Seminar (IPAMS), and the 11th Senior Enlisted Leaders Forum (SELF) 2025 held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 23th to 25th September 2025. With the theme “Forging Synergy: Transforming Multinational Land Power Networks Through Open Fashion Contact”, this year’s event brought together 161 participants from 25 countries to share expertise, exchange perspectives, and explore strategies to address common security challenges among regional land forces.

TUTONG, Sunday, 21st September 2025 – The Second Battalion of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) participated in the ’Ekspedisi Berbasikal Santai Daerah Tutong’ 2025, held at the Tutong Community Hall Field. The event was organised by the Mukim Consultative Council of Pekan Tutong in collaboration with the Tutong District Office.
