MEDICAL SERVICES CONDUCTS TACTICAL COMBAT CASUALTY CARE (TCCC) COURSE
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 24th October 2025 – The Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), conducted the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Course from 23rd to 24th October 2025 as part of Exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (EX CARAT) 2025. The course involved 19 participants and 7 observers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and the Ministry of Health, aimed to improve life-saving skills in combat and high-risk situations.
8 RBLF SENIOR OFFICERS COMPLETED THE 20th EDP 20/2025
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 23 October 2025 – A total of 8 Senior Officers from the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) were among the 28 participants who completed the 20th Executive Development Programme for Senior Government Officials (EDP 20/2025) in Public Policy and Management, organised by the Ministry of Defence. The closing event took place at the Officers’ Mess, Bolkiah Garrison.
RANGE MANAGEMENT COURSE CLOSING CEREMONY
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 23rd October 2025 – The closing ceremony for the Range Management Course (RMC) took place at the Theatre Room, School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. The course was held from 28th August to 22nd October 2025, with a total of 45 course participants consisting of 5 from the Ministry of Defence, 28 from the RBLF, 2 from the Royal Brunei Navy, 3 from the Royal Brunei Air Force, one from Joint Force Headquarters, 4 from Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), one from the Special Forces Regiment Royal Brunei Armed Forces, and one from the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF).
AASTC COURSE PARTICIPANTS ATTENDED NaSOP COURSE
TUNGKU, Thursday, 23rd October 2025 – A total of 19 officers undergoing the All Arms Staff and Tactics Course (AASTC) organised by the Officers’ Development Wing (ODW), School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF) had attended a one-day National Standard Operating Procedure (NaSOP) Course at the CAE Brunei Multi-Purpose Training Centre (MPTC). The course is aimed at equipping participants with an in-depth understanding of the national organisational framework for disaster response and management in Brunei Darussalam, based on the NaSOP guidelines. It also served as essential preparation for their upcoming operational planning phase scheduled to commence next week.
THREE RBLF PERSONNEL RECEIVED LEVEL 5 DIPLOMA CERTIFICATES
BERAKAS, Wednesday, 23rd October 2025 – A total of three Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) personnel received their Level 5 Diploma certificates during the 11th Polytechnic Brunei Convocation Ceremony, held at the Plenary Hall, International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas. The certificates were presented by Yang Mulia Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Fiscal) as Chairperson of the Brunei Polytechnic Board.
3BN RBLF AND 2RGR FORGE STRONGER DEFENCE TIES
LUMUT CAMP, Tuesday, 21st October 2025 – The Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (3Bn RBLF) hosted a luncheon with their counterparts from the Second Battalion Royal Gurkha Rifles (2RGR), to welcome the start of the 2RGR’s rotational tour of duty at Tuker Lines, Seria. The session strengthens the longstanding bilateral defence relationship between Brunei Darussalam and the United Kingdom, and in attendance were Major Khairul Faizin bin Adul Gapar, Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF and Lieutenant Colonel Peter Houlton-Hart, the Commanding Officer of 2RGR, with the event held at the Officers’ Mess, Lumut Camp.
EXERCISE SEMANGAT WAJA 08/26 MUZAKARAH SESSIONS
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday, 21st October 2025 – The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) conducted a series of Muzakarah sessions with District Officers and Heads of Mukims from across the country as part of the preparatory phase for Exercise SEMANGAT WAJA 08/26, scheduled to take place from 21st to 30th January 2026. The sessions are aimed at ensuring early dissemination of information regarding the exercise, allowing relevant agencies and community leaders to coordinate effectively within their respective areas.
RBLF COMMANDER WORKING VISIT TO RBLF SHOOTING CONTINGENT
PENANJONG GARRISON, Tuesday, 21st October 2025 – The Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), Brigadier General Aldi bin Hassan, conducted a working visit to the Binturan Range, Penanjong Garrison, to take a closer look at the RBLF Shooting Contingent training activities in preparation for the upcoming 33rd ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM). Also in attendance were the RBLF Board of Executives, Senior Officers and Officers.
RBLF ENHANCES RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE USARPAC
FORT SHAFTER, HAWAII, Monday, 20 October 2025 - The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) and the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) held the third Land Force Talks (3rd LFT) and Exercise PAHLAWAN WARRIOR 2026 (PW26) Concept Development Conference (CDC), hosted for the first time by USARPAC from 20th to 21st October 2025 at Fort Shafter in Hawaii. The sessions were co-chaired by Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, the RBLF Chief of Staff, with Lieutenant Colonel Travis Walter, the Southeast Asia Branch Chief, USARPAC.
RBLF PARTICIPATED IN 2025 CAREER FAIR
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Monday, 20th October 2025 - The Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) participated in the 2025 Career Fair across all four districts, organised by the JobCentre Brunei from 3rd to 19th October 2025. This participation is aimed at promoting diverse career paths in the RBLF, and providing guidance, such as professional development and education opportunities, as well as further attracting potential individuals to join the Royal Brunei Armed Forces as Officer Cadets or Recruits.
AUSTRALASIAN MILITARY MEDICINE ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE 2025
ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA, Sunday, 19th October 2025 - Lieutenant Colonel (Dr.) Ummi Suzeyanna binti Haji Johari, Chief of Medical Services, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), participated in the Australasian Military Medicine Association (AMMA) Conference 2025 held from 16th to 19th October in Adelaide, Australia. The event brought together military medical professionals to exchange knowledge, explore emerging trends, and highlight advancements in military healthcare through research and innovation.
KELUARGA BERKAT EVENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH RBLF 63RD RBLF ANNIVERSARY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 17th October 2025 – In conjunction with the 63rd anniversary, the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) organised the Keluarga Berkat event held at Pahlawan Hall, Berakas Garrison. In attendance as the guest of honour was Pengiran Noor Hafidzah binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad, spouse of the RBLF Commander, who is also the Head of RBLF Wives Association (BAKTI), and was joined by RBLF female officers, Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs), as well as members of the RBLF BAKTI.
VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT FINAL MATCH
TUTONG CAMP, Friday, 17th October 2025 — The Final Match of the Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) Volleyball Tournament was held at the 2Bn RBLF Gymnasium, Tutong Camp, with a closing event officiated by Major Mohammad Sufrien bin Johan, Commanding Officer of 2Bn RBLF. The activity was organised by the Warrant Officer and Senior Ranks Mess of Tutong Camp, which ran from 14 to 17 October 2025.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 17th October 2025 – A total of 86 Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Junior Non-Commissioned Officers, consisting of the First, Second and Third Battalion, Medical Services, Dental Services and Royal Guards Regiment, were promoted in an event held at respective units throughout the week.
RBLF OFFICER PARTICIPATED IN THE ASEAN PEACEKEEPING STAFF EXERCISE 3
REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, Friday, 17th October 2025 – Major Amzar Mu’az bin Tamit, Officer Commanding from ‘B’ Company, Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), along with Major Haji Nafisal bin Haji Salim from the Joint Force Headquarters Royal Brunei Armed Forces, had participated in the ASEAN Peacekeeping Staff Exercise (APSE 3) at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Peacekeeping Operations Center (AFPPKOC), Camp O’Donnell, Capas, Tarlac, Republic of the Philippines. The course was held from 6th to 17th October 2025.
