FIRST BATTALION ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE HELD FAMILY DAY
BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 10 December 2020 – In conjunction with the end of the year school holiday, First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF) once again organised a family day with a number of exciting activities such as a Zumba session, a colouring contest and fun fair games installations that was hosted by B Company 1Bn RBLF at Berakas Garrison Gymnasium.
OPENING CEREMONY OF ADVANCED INFANTRY COURSE
LUMUT CAMP, Wednesday, 09 December 2020 – Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) held the opening ceremony for the Advanced Infantry Course at the Cookhouse, Lumut Camp. A total of 109 male recruits of the 166th Intake attended the course starting from 08 December 2020 until 31 December 2020. Present as the guest of honour was Major Daud bin Etim, Deputy Commanding Officer 3Bn RBLF. Also present were officers and instructors from 3Bn RBLF.
BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE 59TH ANNIVERSARY
PENANJONG GARRISON, 09 December 2020 – In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) 59th Anniversary, a total of 78 Support Battalion RBLF (Sp Bn RBLF) personnel took part in a blood donation campaign that was successfully conducted by Sp Bn RBLF at the Cookhouse of Sp Bn RBLF, Penanjong Garrison. The campaign was coordinated with Blood Bank Centre of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital.
MEDICAL AND DENTAL SERVICES COMBAT SERVICE SUPPORT ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE STUDY DAY
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday, 09 December 2020 - The Medical and Health Services and Dental Services Combat Service Support Royal Brunei Land Force (CSS RBLF) hosted a Study Day entitled ‘Developing Medical and Dental Services Capabilities in Disaster Relief Operations’ at Ibnu Sina Lecture Hall, Bolkiah Garrison Medical Complex, Bolkiah Garrison.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF INTERMEDIATE STAFF COURSE 20/2020
TANAH JAMBU, Monday, 07 December 2020 – The closing ceremony of the Intermediate Staff Course (ISC) 20/2020 was held today at the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Kampong Tanah Jambu. Present as the guest of honour was First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Haji Suhaili @ Suhaily, Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy. Also present at the ceremony were Brigadier General Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), other Services Commanders and RBAF Joint Force Commander.
HANDING OVER PARADE FOR THE COMMANDING OFFICER OF FIRST BATTALION ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 04 December 2020 - First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF) held a parade for a handing over of command between Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Roasri Erwan bin Haji Tasrif, the outgoing Commanding Officer 1Bn RBLF and Major Fakhrul Ammar bin Haji Mohammad Isa, the Commanding Officer designate of 1Bn RBLF at the Parade Square, Berakas Garrison.
HANDING OVER CEREMONY FOR NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDANT OF COMBAT SERVICE SUPPORT ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE
BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 04 December 2020 – Officers and personnel of the Combat Service Support Royal Brunei Land Force (CSS RBLF) today gathered at the First Battalion RBLF Parade square for a Handing Over Ceremony of the Commandant of CSS RBLF. The handover of command of CSS RBLF was between the Acting Commandant of CSS RBLF, Colonel Dr Awg Haji Mohammad Hafizul bin Haji Mohammad Hassan to Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Mutalip bin Bujang as the new Commandant of CSS RBLF. Also in attendance were Acting Deputy Commandant CSS RBLF, Chief Dental Officers, Logistic Depot Commanding Officers, Senior Officers, Officers and CSS RBLF Personnel.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 04 December 2020 – The First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF) held a Regimental Dinner Night in conjunction with the handing over appointment of Commanding Officer 1Bn RBLF and in appreciation of the former Commanding Officer at Berakas Garrison Officers’ Mess.

BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 02 December 2020 – The Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) held the recital of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil ceremony in remembrance of the 40 days since the passing of Al-Marhum Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim Ibni Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah across all RBLF’s suraus tonight.
MUZAKARAH SESSION WITH PENGHULU MUKIM PANGKALAN BATU, HEAD OF VILLAGES OF MUKIM PANGKALAN BATU AND PERSONNEL OF COVID 19 SEPADU OPS
LIMAU MANIS, Wednesday, 02 December 2020 – First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF) with Reserve Unit Company ‘C’ Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) held a muzakarah session with Penghulu and Head of Villagers of Mukim Pangkalan Batu at Limau Manis Police Station as well as personnel operating at Limau Manis Police Station.
EXERCISE KUKRI DEFENDER BETWEEN THIRD BATTALION ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE AND 2 ROYAL GURKHA RIFLES
ULU TUTONG, Sunday 30 November 2020 – A total of 30 personnel from Platoon 4 Company ‘B’, Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) and 132 personnel from Company ‘C’ Tamandu 2 Royal Gurkha Rifles (2 RGR) has completed Exercise Kukri Defender which was held from 21 to 29 November 2020 at Ulu Tutong forest area.
11TH BRUNEI-INDONESIA ARMY WORKING GROUP MEETING (BRUNESIA AWG 11/2020)
BERAKAS GARRISON, Tuesday, 01 December 2020 – The 11th Brunei-Indonesia Army Working Group Meeting (BRUNESIA AWG 11/2020) was held today via video teleconferencing (VTC) between the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) and the Indonesian National Military – Land Force (TNI-AD) at the RBLF Headquarters. The meeting was co-chaired by Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, Chief of Staff of RBLF and Brigadier General Achmad Budi Handoyo, Deputy of Training Assistant for Foreign Joint Exercise for Army Chief of Staff.
HANDOVER CEREMONY OF THE DEPUTY COMMANDING OFFICER OF THIRD BATTALION ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE
LUMUT CAMP, Monday 30 November 2020 – The Handover Ceremony between Major Fakhrul Ammar bin Haji Mohammad Isa, the outgoing Deputy Commanding Officer of Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF), and the incoming Deputy Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF, Major Daud bin Etim took place this afternoon at the 3Bn RBLF Headquarters, Lumut Camp.
HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE AND DISASTER RELIEF RESPONSE BY SECOND BATTALION ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE
TUTONG DISTRICT, Sunday, 29 November 2020 – Second Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) assisted in natural disaster relief effort in Tutong District. Heavy rain caused flooding in lowland areas, left several residential areas and main roads inaccessible, particularly in around the areas of Kampung Layong.
THIRD BATTALION ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE INVOLVED IN DOMESTIC NATURAL DISASTER RELIEF EFFORT
KG SUNGAI MAU, Sunday 29 November 2020– Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) was involved in providing assistance to heavily flooded areas such as Bukit Puan, Bukit Sawat as well as Kg Kagu. Relief efforts included providing transportation to the community that was stranded in the area.
