KAMPONG MUNGKOM, Wednesday 21 August 2019 – The main highlight of Exercise Semangat Waja 7/2019 took place at Wasai Bedanu, Kampong Mungkom, Tutong district.
Present as the Guest of Honour for the event was Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairol Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF). Also present during the event were the Chief of Staff, Acting Commandant of Combat Service Support, officers and personnel of RBLF involved in this exercise.
The ceremony commenced with briefings on the exercise, Battle Management System (BMS) and Enemy situation. The event was then followed with the final attack conducted by Company A of Second Battalion, RBLF.
During the exercise, the organization and administration of Field Command were put into practice for the first time which saw the Command and Control (C2) of two Infantry Battalions as the Combat Component, Support Battalion as the Combat Support and the Combat Service Support (CSS) which covers the CSS component. The first trial of the Battle Management System (BMS) were also used during this exercise, to monitor and control the movement of the friendly forces and the location of the enemy.
Exercise Semangat Waja 7 took place from 16 August 2019 to 21 August 2019 and covered various locations in Brunei Darussalam.
ACARA KEMUNCAK EKSESAIS SEMANGAT WAJA VII/2019
KAMPONG MUNGKOM, Rabu 21 Ogos 2019 – Acara kemuncak bagi Eksesais Semangat Waja siri ke 7/2019 telah diadakan di Wasai Bedanu , Kampong Mungkom, Daerah Tutong.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis ialah Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairol Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei. Turut sama hadir ialah Ketua Staf TDDB, Pemangku Komandan Khidmat Bantuan Kombat, Pegawai-Pegawai serta anggota-anggota TDDB yang terlibat dalam eksesais tersebut.
Acara dimulakan dengan taklimat eksesais, penerangan
Battle Management System (BMS) dan situasi musuh. Acara seterusnya diikuti dengan pertunjukan acara kemuncak serangan akhir ke atas perkhemahan musuh oleh Kompeni A, Batalion Kedua TDDB.
Pada eksesais kali ini, organisasi Pemerintahan Medan dipraktikkan buat pertama kali yang mana perintah dan kawalan (C2) kepada dua Batalion Infantri diaktifkan sebagai Komponen Kombat, Batalion Bantu sebagai Bantuan Kombat dan Khidmat bantuan Kombat sebagai Komponen Khidmat Bantuan Kombat. Battle Management System (BMS) turut digunakan semasa eksesais ini untuk memantau dan mengawal pergerakan angkatan sahabat dan lokasi musuh.
Eksesais Semangat Waja 7 bermula 16 Ogos 2019 sehingga 21 Ogos 2019 dan merangkumi beberapa tempat di Negara Brunei Darussalam.
