BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 06 January 2022 – A Leadership Talk session by Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) took place today at Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garrison. The talk was attended by 45 Officers with the rank of Major across the RBLF. The session was held in accordance with the Ministry of Health’s guidelines.
The session commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the Leadership Talk by the Commander of RBLF. During the session, the Commander of RBLF highlighted the leadership concept of Prophet Muhammad SAW by sharing the history and lessons from 3 main battles from Islamic History namely the Battles of Badr, Uhud and Khandaq during the era of Prophet Muhammad SAW. He further elaborated on the leadership model under the acronym ‘V.A.S.T.S’ (Values, Abilities, Style, Traits and Skills) and how it can be applied to various leadership contexts. The Commander of RBLF also highlighted the importance of moral courage and integrity towards materialising the values of RBLF as well as the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Core Values (RBAF).
During his closing remarks, the Commander of RBLF reminded the officers to ensure their subordinates perform their daily prayers and read the Al-Quran. The talk concluded recitation of Surah Al-Asr, Tasbih Kifarah and Doa Untuk Ibu Bapa.

BERAKAS GARISON, Khamis, 06 Januari 2022 – Satu sesi Taklimat Kepimpinan yang disampaikan oleh Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah berlangsung pada hari ini bertempat di Dewan Pahlawan, Berakas Garison. Seramai 45 Pegawai-pegawai TDDB berpangkat Mejar dari setiap unit TDDB menghadiri taklimat berkenaan yang dilaksanakan mengikut garispanduan yang telah ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Kesihatan.
Sesi tersebut dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diikuti dengan Taklimat Kepimpinan oleh Pemerintah TDDB yang mana beliau mengongsikan konsep kepimpinan Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam (SAW) dengan menceritakan sejarah dan iktibar daripada 3 peperangan utama dalam sejarah Islam iaitu Perang Badar, Uhud dan Khandaq. Beliau juga menerangkan mengenai model kepimpinan dengan akronim ‘V.A.S.T.S’ (Values, Abilities, Style, Traits and Skills) atau nilai, kebolehan, gaya, sifat dan kemahiran serta cara kepimpinan tersebut mampu diterapkan dalam pelbagai konteks kepimpinan di samping penekanan betapa pentingnya nilai keberanian dan integriti ke arah merealisasikan nilai-nilai teras TDDB dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB).
Pada mengakhiri ucapan beliau, semua pegawai diingatkan untuk memastikan anggota pimpinan masing-masing untuk menunaikan solat dan membaca Al-Quran demi pengukuhan akidah dan benteng dari perkara-perkara negatif. Taklimat diakhiri dengan bacaan Surah Al-Asr, Tasbih Kifarah dan Doa Untuk Ibu Bapa.
