PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 29 August 2022 – School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force (SOI RBLF) held a Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony in conjunction with the 13th anniversary of the SOI RBLF at Surau Al-Hikmah, Penanjong Garrison.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Major Mohamad Safizan bin Ahmad, Acting Officer Commanding, Officer Development Wing, SOI RBLF. Other attendees present during the event were Officers, other ranks and course participants of SOI RBLF.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Warrant Officer (U) Md Shahrin bin Hj Sarpudin, Sergeant Major of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Religious Directorate. The event continued with the recitation of Takhtim, followed by Doa Khatam, Tahlil and concluded with the Closing Doa for Khatam Al-Quran.
The event is one of the activities that aim to enliven the anniversary of SOI RBLF for the year 2022. In addition to instilling enthusiasm, it is also to obtain the blessing of the Al-Quran and to cultivate the practice of reading Al-Quran among Officers and personnel of SOI RBLF.
MAJLIS KHATAM AL-QURAN SEMPENA SAMBUTAN HARI ULANG TAHUN SEKOLAH INFANTRI TDDB YANG KE-13 TAHUN
PENANJONG GARISON, Isnin, 29 Ogos 2022 – Sekolah Infantri, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (SI TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Khatam Al-Quran sempena Sambutan Hari Ulang Tahun Sekolah Infantri yang ke-13 bertempat di Surau Al-Hikmah, Penanjong Garison.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar Mohamad Safizan bin Ahmad, Pemangku Pegawai Memerintah, Cawangan Perkembangan Pegawai, SI TDDB. Turut hadir semasa acara tersebut ialah pegawai-pegawai, anggota-anggota dan peserta-peserta kursus SI TDDB.
Acara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah yang dikepalai oleh Pegawai Waran 2 (U) Md Shahrin bin Hj Sarpudin, Sarjan Mejar Jabatanarah Agama Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei. Majlis diteruskan dengan bacaan Takhtim, Doa Khataam, Tahlil dan Doa Penutup.
Majlis tersebut merupakan salah satu aktiviti untuk menyemarakkan lagi Sambutan Ulang Tahun Sekolah Infantri TDDB bagi tahun 2022 disamping untuk menyemai semangat dan membudayakan amalan untuk membaca Al-Quran dikalangan Pegawai dan anggota SI TDDB.
