LUMUT CAMP, Friday, 11 December 2020 – A Khatam Al-Quran ceremony for the children of the Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) personnel was held today at Surau Ar-Rahmah, Lumut Camp. Present as the guest of honour was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammad Alimin bin Haji Subohi, Commanding Officer 3Bn RBLF. Also in attendance were officers of the 3Bn RBLF and children of 3Bn RBLF personnel who participated in the recital of Khatam Al-Quran.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah-surah Khatam followed by Takhtim and Dikir Marhaban. The ceremony ended with the recital of the closing doa.
The Khatam-Al Quran is aimed to instill love and interest for the Al-Quran among the children by reciting the Al-Quran fluently and to become well-versed in it through the complete recitation of 30 juzu’ or chapters of the Al-Quran.
MAJLIS KHATAM AL-QURAN BAGI ANAK-ANAK TENTERA BATALION KETIGA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Jumaat, 11 Disember 2020 – Majlis Khatam Al-Quran bagi anak-anak tentera Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah diadakan pada hari ini bertempat di Surau Ar-Rahmah, Perkhemahan Lumut. Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohammad Alimin bin Haji Subohi, Pegawai Pemerintah 3Bn TDDB. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah pegawai-Pegawai serta anak-anak anggota 3Bn TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan surah-surah khatam, diikuti dengan bacaan Takhtim dan Dikir Marhaban. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan doa penutup.
Majlis Khatam Al-Quran bertujuan untuk memupuk rasa kecintaan dan minat anak-anak agar lancar membaca Al-Quran melalui pembacaan Al-Quran 30 juzu’.
