BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 24 April 2019 – Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) received an introductory call from Captain Richard Caton, the non- resident Australian Defence Adviser accredited to Brunei Darussalam at RBLF Headquarters.
During the call, both sides also affirmed the friendly relationship between the countries and the progress in bilateral cooperation notably through the exchange of high-level visits, trainings and courses. Commander of RBLF extended his utmost appreciation for the continuous support from Australia and hope to explore more interactions in the future.
KUNJUNGAN PENGENALAN DARIPADA PENASIHAT PERTAHANAN AUSTRALIA KE NEGARA BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
BERAKAS GARISON, Rabu, 24 April 2019 – Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah menerima kunjungan pengenalan daripada Yang Mulia Kepten Richard Caton, Penasihat Pertahanan Australia (tidak menetap) yang diiktiraf ke Brunei Darussalam bertempat di Markas TDDB.
Semasa kunjungan hormat tersebut, kedua belah pihak juga menekankan kepentingan hubungan dua hala yang rapat di antara TDDB dan Australuia yang mana hubungan ketenteraan telah meningkat melalui lawatan di peringkat tertinggi, kursus dan latihan. Pemerintah TDDB juga merakamkan penghargaan di atas sokongan yang berterusan daripada Australia dan mengalu-alukan lebih banyak interaksi di masa akan datang.
