TUTONG CAMP, Tuesday, 08 September 2020 – A total of 45 Officer Cadets from the Officer Cadet School (OCS), Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) from Intake 19th made a visit to the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) which took place at the Second Battalion RBLF. The delegations was led by Lt Muhd Azmi bin Abd Latif, Wing Commander (Land).
The purpose of the visit was to exposed the Officer Cadets on the organizational structure of the Royal Brunei Land Force and also to show the assets and capabilities available in RBLF.
The visit began with a welcoming speech from Major Pg Hj Nazri Amir bin Pg DP Hj Md Zain, Assistant Chief of Staff Training (G7) Royal Brunei Land Force Headquarters. Later a briefing on the Organisational Structure of the Royal Brunei Land Force was delivered by Lt Muhamad Zaimmi @ Md Firdaus bin Ismail, Staff Officer Grade 3 Security (G2) RBLF Headquarters.
The Officer Cadets were presented with the static display on the assets found in the Combat unit and Support Combat unit. They also had the chance to look more closely into the assets from the Support Battalion such as Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance Tracked (CVRT), Combat Engineer equipment and Chemical, Biological, Radiological and explosive gear were also presented. Also presented during the static display were the communication equipment and support weapon from the Infantry Battalion such as Mortar. In addition, they get to see Rotary Drones which has both thermal and infrared capability. Then, the Officer Cadets School study tour concluded with a group photo session.
PERKHEMAHAN TUTONG, Selasa, 08 September 2020 – Seramai 45 Pegawai-Pegawai Kadet dari Sekolah Pegawai Kadet (SPK), Akademi Pertahanan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) daripada pengambilan ke-19 telah membuat lawatan ke Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) yang berlangsung di Batalion Kedua TDDB. Rombongan lawatan tersebut diketuai oleh Yang Mulia Lt Muhd Azmi bin Abd Latif, Ketua Cawangan Darat.
Adapun tujuan lawatan tersebut diadakan adalah bagi memberi pendedahan mengenai struktur oganisasi TDDB dan memperlihatkan aset-aset utama dan keupayaan termasuk kelengkapan-kelengkapan yang terdapat di TDDB.
Lawatan dimulakan dengan kata-kata aluan daripada Yang Mulia Mejar Pg Hj Nazri Amir bin Pg DP Hj Md Zain, Penolong Ketua Staf Latihan (G7) Markas TDDB. Seterusnya taklimat ringkas mengenai struktur organisasi TDDB telah disampaikan oleh Yang Mulia Lt Muhamad Zaimmi @ Md Firdaus bin Ismail, Penolong Pegawai Turus Keselamatan (G2) Markas TDDB.
Pegawai-Pegawai Kadet seterusnya menyaksikan pameran statik aset-aset yang terdapat di dalam unit Kombat dan unit Bantuan Kombat. Mereka berpeluang untuk melihat dengan lebih dekat aset yang terdapat di Batalion Bantu seperti Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance Tracked (CVRT), Kelengkapan Jurutera Tempur dan peralatan daripada unit Kimia, Biologi, Radiologi dan letupan. Pameran statik juga mempamerkan peralatan perhubungan dan senjata bantuan daripada Batalion Infantri seperti Meriam Katak. Tambahan juga, mereka berkesempatan melihat Rotary Drones yang mempunyai keupayaan termal dan inframerah. Seterusnya, lawatan Sekolah Pegawai Kadet di akhiri dengan sesi bergambar ramai
