BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 08 July 2022 – The handover of duties of the Chief of Staff Royal Brunei Land Force (COS RBLF) took place today at the RBLF Headquarters (RBLF HQ). Present to witness the ceremony was Brigadier General Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Commander of RBLF. Also present during the ceremony were the Assistant Chief of Staffs, Officers, Land Force Sergeant Major and RBLF HQ personnel.
The ceremony commenced with the signing of handover certificates between Colonel Haji Mohammad Shannonizam bin Sulaiman, the outgoing COS RBLF and Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Mohamed Sufri bin Pengiran Haji Rosli, the incoming COS RBLF. The ceremony continued with the recitation of Doa Selamat and concluded with a photo session.
Prior to holding the post of COS of RBLF, Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Mohamed Sufri was the Commandant of Gurkha Reserve Unit from 16 December 2019 until 27 June 2022. Meanwhile the outgoing COS RBLF, Colonel Haji Mohammad Shannonizam bin Sulaiman now holds the position of the first Field Commander of RBLF effective 27 June 2022.
MAJLIS SERAH TERIMA TUGAS KETUA STAF TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
BERAKAS GARISON, Jumaat, 08 Julai 2022 – Majlis Serah Terima Tugas Ketua Staf Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (KS TDDB) telah berlangsung hari ini bertempat di Markas TDDB. Hadir bagi menyaksikan majlis tersebut ialah Brigedier Jeneral Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir semasa acara tersebut adalah Penolong-penolong Ketua Staf TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai, Sarjan Mejar TDDB dan anggota-anggota Markas TDDB.
Acara dimulakan dengan menandatangani Sijil Serah Terima Tugas diantara Kolonel Haji Mohammad Shannonizam bin Sulaiman, Mantan KS TDDB dan Leftenan Kolonel Pengiran Mohamed Sufri bin Pengiran Haji Rosli, KS TDDB yang baru. Majlis diteruskan dengan bacaan Doa Selamat dan diakhiri dengan sesi bergambar ramai.
Sebelum memegang jawatan sebagai KS TDDB, Leftenan Kolonel Pengiran Mohamed Sufri adalah Komandan Unit Simpanan Gurkha dari 16 December 2019 hingga 27 June 2022. Sementara itu, KS TDDB yang lama, Kolonel Haji Mohammad Shannonizam kini memegang jawatan sebagai Pemerintah Medan pertama TDDB berkuat kuasa pada 27 Jun 2022.
