BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 28 October 2022 – The Brunei Darussalam Flag Handover Ceremony to the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) Contingent who will participate in the 30th Asean Armies Rifle Meet (30th AARM) was held today at the RBLF Headquarters, Berakas Garrison.
Present as the guest of honour was Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Commander of RBLF. Also present to witness the ceremony were Deputy Commander of RBLF, Field Commander of RBLF, Chief of Staff of RBLF, Senior Officers and personnel of RBLF.
Upon arrival, the Commander of RBLF received the honorary salute led by Lieutenant Colonel Rudie Asmawi bin Haji Abidin, the Contingent Commander followed by the inspection of the Guard of Honour mounted by the 30th AARM participants.[EE1]
The ceremony then commenced with the recital of Surah Al-fatihah followed by the official handed over of the national flag by the Commander of RBLF to the Contingent Commander. The ceremony continued with the speech from the Commander of RBLF where he conveyed that the match concept for the 30th AARM is based on solidarity as a means to enhance relations between ASEAN countries. He also expressed his hopes for the contingent to maintain and improve their performance as a team, which will bring out the competitive spirit and pride for the organisation as well as the country. Furthermore, he also reminded the whole contingent to maintain their discipline, continue to cooperate with one another as well as showing high professionalism throughout the competition. The ceremony then concluded with a group photo session.
The 30th AARM competition will be held at National Military Training Centre 4, Hanoi, Vietnam, which will take place from 03 November 2022 until 12 November 2022. The AARM Contingent consists of 45 members who will partake in various events such as Carbine, Pistol, Rifle and General-Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG) shooting competitions.

UPACARA PENYERAHAN BENDERA BAGI PERLAWANAN ASEAN ARMIES RIFLE MEET YANG KE-30 BERAKAS GARISON, Juma’at, 28 Oktober 2022 - Upacara Penyerahan Bendera Negara Brunei Darussalam kepada Kontinjen Penembak Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) yang akan menyertai Perlawanan Asean Armies Rifle Meet yang ke 30 (AARM ke 30) telah diadakan di Markas Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei, Berakas Garison. Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Saifulrizal bin Haji Latif, Pemerintah TDDB. Turut hadir menyaksikan upacara tersebut ialah Timbalan Pemerintah TDDB, Pemerintah Medan TDDB, Ketua Staf TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan dan anggota TDDB. Sejurus ketibaan, Pemerintah TDDB menerima tabik hormat yang diketuai oleh Leftenan Kolonel Rudie Asmawi bin Haji Abidin, Ketua Kontinjen TDDB AARM ke 30 diikuti dengan pemeriksaan Kawalan Kehormatan yang terdiri daripada peserta AARM ke 30. Majlis kemudian dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-fatihah diikuti dengan penyerahan bendera oleh Pemerintah TDDB kepada Ketua Kontinjen. Majlis diteruskan dengan ucapan daripada Pemerintah TDDB di mana beliau menyampaikan bahawa konsep perlawanan bagi AARM ke 30 adalah berasaskan solidariti sebagai cara untuk meningkatkan hubungan antara negara ASEAN. Beliau juga melahirkan harapan agar Kontinjen Penembak TDDB akan dapat mengekalkan dan mempertingkatkan prestasi sebagai sebuah pasukan yang berdaya saing di peringkat antarabangsa seterusnya mengharumkan nama organisasi dan negara. Pada masa yang sama, beliau juga mengingatkan kepada Kontinjen Penembak TDDB agar sentiasa menjaga disiplin, kerjasama serta mempamerkan sikap profesionalisme yang tinggi disepanjang perlawanan tersebut. Majlis tersebut berakhir dengan sesi bergambar ramai. Perlawanan pada tahun ini akan diadakan di National Military Training Centre 4, Hanoi, Vietnam bermula pada 03 November 2022 dan berakhir pada 12 November 2022. Seramai 45 orang anggota penembak TDDB menyertai perlawanan tahun ini dalam beberapa acara perlawanan menembak seperti acara menembak senjata Carbine, Pistol, Rifle dan General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG). |
