BRUNEI, Saturday, 14 August 2021 – In response to the government’s call in curbing the spread of the Covid -19 epidemic, First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (1Bn RBLF) and Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) deployed their personnel to two different vaccine centres in the country.
In Brunei-Muara District, 1Bn RBLF deployed 16 personnel to the Indoor Stadium Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex Vaccination Centre while 2Bn RBLF deployed 15 personnel to the new Tutong vaccination centre at Tutong Community Centre to assist the hospital workforce in carrying out the National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme and swab tests.
Among the assistance provided were in terms of manpower, crowd control and ensuring civilians adhere to the Ministry of Health’s guidelines so that the vaccination programmes can be carried out with ease and in a controlled manner.
Prior to its move to Tutong Community Centre, 2Bn RBLF also provided assistance with the transfer of equipment from the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital to the Tutong Community Centre, now utilised as a new vaccination centre.
RBLF continues to support the Whole of Nation Approach to control the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic by providing responsive and effective assistance. This effort reflects the commitment of RBLF in assisting the Ministry of Health and other agencies, especially towards the frontline workers in handling the COVID-19 situation.
BATALION PERTAMA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI DAN BATALION KEDUA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI MEMBANTU PROGRAM VAKSINASI KEBANGSAAN DAN SWAB TEST
BRUNEI, Sabtu, 14 Ogos 2021 – Dalam menyahut seruan kerajaan bagi membendung penularan wabak Covid -19, Batalion Pertama Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (1Bn TDDB) dan Batalion Kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (2Bn TDDB) telah mengatur gerak anggotanya ke dua tempat Pusat Vaksin yang berasingan di negara ini.
Bagi daerah Brunei dan Muara, 1Bn TDDB telah mengatur gerak seramai 16 anggota ke Pusat Vaksinasi, Stadium Tertutup Kompleks Sukan Negara Hassanal Bolkiah. Manakala, bagi Daerah Tutong, 2Bn TDDB telah mengatur gerak seramai 15 anggota ke pusat vaksin baru, Daerah Tutong bertempat di Dewan Kemasyarakatan Tutong untuk memberikan bantuan kepada kakitangan hospital dalam melaksanakan Program Vaksinasi Kebangsaan dan juga swab test.
Antara bantuan yang disumbangkan adalah dari segi tenaga pekerja, pengawalan orang ramai dan menentukan orang ramai mengikuti garispandu yang ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Kesihatan supaya program suntikan dan swab test berjalan dengan lancar, teratur dan terkawal.
Sebelum pemindahan Pusat Vaksinasi Tutong, 2Bn TDDB juga telah membantu dalam melaksanakan pemindahan alat kelengkapan vaksinasi dari Hospital Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ke Dewan Kemasyarakatan Tutong, yang akan digunakan sebagai Pusat Vaksinasi Tutong yang baru.
TDDB akan terus memberi kerjasama dalam menyahut Whole of Nation Approach dalam pengawalan wabak COVID-19 dengan memberi bantuan yang responsif dan berkesan. Bantuan ini mencerminkan komitmen TDDB dalam menyokong Kementerian Kesihatan dan agensi-agensi lain terutamanya petugas-petugas baris hadapan dalam menangani situasi COVID-19 di negara ini.
