LUMUT CAMP, Monday, 18 April 2022 - The Final Planning Conference (FPC) for Exercise PAHLAWAN WARRIOR between the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) and United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) was held today at the Officer’s Mess Lumut Camp. The arrival of guest officers from USARPAC was welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammad Alimin bin Haji Subohi, Commanding Officer of Third Battalion RBLF (3Bn RBLF). Also present were officers and personnel of 3Bn RBLF.
3Bn RBLF hosted the conference and as a result the exercise will tentatively take place from 13 June 2022 until 23 June 2022. The event commenced with a group photo session followed by the opening remarks from the Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF. It continued with site survey around the camp and concluded with breakout session between both sides on the exercise planning.
3Bn RBLF along with other RBLF specialized units will be participating in this military exercises with the USARPAC which based on jungle and urban exercise as well as live firing manoeuvre and Operations Other Than War (OOTW). The objective of the FPC was to enhance the interoperability between both armies through the exchange of professional knowledge as well as to strengthen the defence relations between the two countries.
FINAL PLANNING CONFERENCE (FPC) BAGI EKSESAIS PAHLAWAN WARRIOR TAHUN 2022
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Isnin, 18 April 2022 - Final Planning Conference (FPC) bagi Eksesais PAHLAWAN WARRIOR 2022 di antara Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) dan United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) telah diadakan hari ini bertempat di Mes Pegawai Perkhemahan Lumut. Ketibaan pegawai jemputan daripada USARPAC telah disambut oleh Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohammad Alimin bin Haji Subohi, Pegawai Pemerintah Batalion Ketiga TDDB (3Bn TDDB). Turut hadir ialah pegawai-pegawai dan anggota 3Bn TDDB.
3Bn TDDB telah menganjurkan persidangan berkenaan yang mana tarikh pelaksanaan eksesais dijangka akan berlangsung bermula 13 Jun 2022 hingga 23 Jun 2022. Majlis tersebut dimulakan dengan sesi bergambar ramai diikuti dengan ucapan pembukaan daripada Pegawai Pemerintah 3Bn TDDB. Majlis diteruskan dengan tinjauan ke beberapa kawasan perkhemahan dan diakhiri dengan sesi breakout di antara kedua pihak bagi perancangan eksesais.
Gabungan unit-unit pakar bersama 3Bn TDDB dan USARPAC akan menyertai latihan ketenteraan yang merangkumi latihan eksesais hutan dan peperangan bandar di samping melibatkan latihan menggunakan peluru hidup dan Operations Other Than War (OOTW). Objektif FPC adalah untuk meningkatkan tahap interoperabiliti kedua angkatan tentera menerusi pertukaran maklumat profesional serta mengukuhkan lagi hubungan pertahanan bagi kedua negara.
