LUMUT CAMP, Thursday, 24 December 2020 – Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF) held the final competition of Musabaqah Tilawah Al- Quran at the Pipes and Drum Platoon Auditorium Hall, Lumut Camp. The competition consisted of nine Qari from different companies of the 3Bn RBLF.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohammad Alimin bin Haji Subohi, the Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF. Also present at the event were officers and other ranks of 3Bn RBLF.
The champion of the competition was won by Private Mohd Aiman bin Saili from C Company, 3Bn RBLF; while runner-up was awarded to Private Hafizuddin bin Mohd Zaini from A Company, 3Bn RBLF and third place went to Private Muhd Norasrin bin Abdul Rahim from B Company, 3Bn RBLF.
The event concluded with the presentation of souvenirs by the Guest of Honour to the panel of judges and contestants followed by Doa Selamat recited by Sergeant Harun Ar Rasyid bin Hj Husin.
The competition serves to enrich one’s understanding and knowledge of the Al-Quran. It also aims to produce potential Qari and as a preparation for the participants to compete at the RBLF competition level. Prior to the competition, the contestants attended a 3-day intensive Quran Reading workshop organised by the Religious Department, Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
MAJLIS MUSABAQAH TILAWAH AL-QURAN PERLAWANAN AKHIR PERINGKAT BATALION KETIGA TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Khamis, 24 Disember 2020 - Majlis Penutup Musabaqah Tilawah Al- Quran peringkat akhir bagi Batalion Ketiga Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (3Bn TDDB) telah diadakan di Dewan Auditorium Platun Serunai dan Tambur, Perkhemahan Lumut. Seramai sembilan anggota daripada kompeni-kompeni 3Bn TDDB telah menyertai pertandingan tersebut pada tahun ini.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Haji Mohammad Alimin bin Haji Subohi, Pegawai Pemerintah 3Bn TDDB. Turut hadir semasa majlis tersebut ialah pegawai-pegawai serta warga anggota 3Bn TDDB.
Pemenang-pemenang Musabaqah Tilawah Al-Quran adalah Soldadu Mohd Aiman bin Saili dari Kompeni C 3Bn TDDB selaku Johan, Soldadu Hafizuddin bin Mohd Zaini dari Kompeni A 3Bn TDDB meraih Naib Johan dan tempat ketiga disandang oleh Soldadu Muhd Norasrin bin Abdul Rahim dari Kompeni B 3Bn TDDB.
Penyampaian cenderahati dan hadiah kepada pemenang pertandingan dan para peserta serta jemaah hakim telah disempurnakan oleh tetamu kehormat dan seterusnya diikuti dengan bacaan Doa Selamat oleh Sarjan Harun Ar Rasyid bin Hj Husin.
Antara objektif pertandingan adalah untuk menanai dan menjulang martabat Al-Quran sebagai syiar panduan kehidupan. Selain itu, ia juga bertujuan untuk melahirkan qari yang berpotensi dalam mempersiapkan peserta bagi pertandingan di peringkat TDDB. Sebelum pertandingan tersebut, peserta – peserta telah menghadiri kelas mengaji Al-Quran secara taranum selama tiga hari yang dikendalikan oleh Jabatan Agama, Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.
