LUMUT CAMP, Tuesday, 10 January – The Advance Infantry Course participants from Intake 169 had the opportunity to attend a session today with the Field Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Colonel Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman, which was held at the Mini Stadium, Lumut Camp. The five-week course will take place from 27 December 2022 until 27 January 2023 and is organised by Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF).
Upon arrival, the Field Commander RBLF was greeted by Major Mohamad Safizan bin Ahmad, Deputy Commanding Officer 3Bn RBLF. Also present during the session was Major Mohammad Za’im bin Haji Zainal, Officer Commanding of Riverine Company as the Advanced Infantry Course organiser, alongside officers and instructors of the course.
The meeting session commenced with Lieutenant Mohamad Syazani bin Hj Md Shaini, Assistant Course Organiser reporting to the Field Commander RBLF, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and then a Combat Physical Training led by the Physical Training Instructors (PTI) of 3Bn RBLF.
Upon completion of the training, the Field Commander RBLF had the opportunity to convey his advice and reminded the course participants on the aspects of obedience, military discipline as well as religion, safety and security which includes financial management and the personal usage of social media.
Towards the end of the session, Major Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF had the opportunity to attend the question-and-answer session before closing the session with the recitation of the Closing Doa.
The purpose of this session is to provide an opportunity for the course participants to interact directly with Field Commander RBLF in addition to portraying the importance of the course for the familiarisation process of new RBLF personnel.
SESI PERJUMPAAN PEMERINTAH MEDAN TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI BERSAMA PESERTA KURSUS LANJUTAN INFANTRI LEPASAN REKRUT PENGAMBILAN KE-169
PERKHEMAHAN LUMUT, Selasa, 10 Januari 2022 – Peserta Kursus Lanjutan Infantri lepasan Rekrut Pengambilan Ke-169 pada hari ini telah berpeluang bagi menghadiri sesi bersama Pemerintah Medan Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), Kolonel Haji Mohammad Shanonnizam bin Sulaiman yang telah diadakan di Mini Stadium, Perkhemahan Lumut. Kursus selama lima minggu tersebut berlangsung dari 27 Disember 2022 hingga 27 Januari 2023 dan telah dianjurkan oleh Batalion Ketiga TDDB (3Bn TDDB).
Sejurus tiba, Pemerintah TDDB telah disambut oleh Mejar Mohamad Safizan bin Ahmad, Timbalan Pegawai Pemerintah 3Bn TDDB. Turut hadir pada sesi tersebut adalah Mejar Mohammad Za’im bin Haji Zainal, Pegawai Memerintah Kompeni Riverine selaku Pemangku Pegawai Pengendali Kursus bersama-sama Pegawai-Pegawai dan Jurulatih-Jurulatih Kursus Lanjutan Infantri pengambilan ke 169.
Sesi perjumpaan dimulakan dengan Leftenan Mohamad Syazani bin Hj Md Shaini, Penolong Pengendali Kursus melapor kepada Panglima TDDB, diteruskan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah diikuti dengan Combat Physical Training yang diketuai oleh Jurulatih Jasmani daripada 3Bn TDDB.
Selepas latihan, Pemerintah Medan TDDB berkesempatan bagi memberikan nasihat dan peringatan kepada peserta kursus dari aspek ketaatan, disiplin ketenteraan serta ugama, keselamatan dan sekuriti yang merangkumi daripada pengurusan kewangan ke penggunaan laman media sosial peribadi anggota.
Diakhir sesi perjumpaan itu, Mejar Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Pegawai Pemerintah 3Bn TDDB juga berkesempatan untuk hadir bersama-sama bagi sesi soal jawab sebelum diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Penutup.
Adapun tujuan sesi perjumpaan ini diadakan adalah untuk memberikan peluang kepada anggota-anggota kursus untuk berinteraksi secara langsung dengan Pemerintah Medan TDDB disamping menunjukkan betapa pentingnya kursus ini diadakan bagi proses suai kenal anggota-anggota baru TDDB.
