PENANJONG GARRISON, Wednesday, 10th December 2025 – The Second Battalion, Royal Brunei Land Forces (2Bn RBLF) conducted Exercise TEKAD BERSAMA XV/2025, followed by the closing event of the Patrol Commander Course held at the Field Firing Area, Binturan Range, Penanjong Garrison. Present was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, RBLF Commander, accompanied by the Acting Field Commander, RBLF Senior Officers and officers.
The exercise commenced with a full tactical demonstration, which highlighted combined operations involving the Heliborne, Motorised and Riverine companies, the Mortar Platoon, Special Task Platoon, Armoured Reconnaissance Squadron, course participants of the Patrol Commander Course, as well as the No. 1 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force, in providing the Harassing Fire and Fast Roping. Following the demonstration, the programme continued with the presentation of certificates and the official closing of the course, including the presentation of the Best Overall Student Award to Sergeant Jefri bin Ajak from the 2Bn RBLF. The Patrol Leader Combat Course 2025 took place from 20th October to 14th December 2025 conducted by the Jungle Warfare Training Wing, School of Infantry RBLF. This year, a total of seven participants attended the Patrol Commander Course, with the first participation of two personnel from the Malaysian Army.
The conduct of the exercise reflects the RBLF’s continuous efforts in developing tactical proficiency, enhances individual and collective performance, as well as strengthens inter-unit cooperation. The exercise is aimed at ensuring a high level of operational readiness and the competency of personnel in fulfilling national defence responsibilities at the highest standard towards achieving Mission-Ready Land Forces.
EKSESAIS TEKAD BERSAMA XV/2025 DAN ACARA PENUTUP KURSUS KETUA RONDA
PENANJONG GARISON, Rabu, 10 Disember 2025 – Batalion Kedua Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (2Bn TDDB) telah melaksanakan Eksesais TEKAD BERSAMA XV/2025 diikuti dengan Upacara Penutup Kursus Ketua Ronda bertempat di kawasan Lapang Sasar, Padang Tembak Binturan, Penanjong Garison. Hadir sama ialah Brigedier Jeneral Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Pemerintah TDDB dan disertai oleh Pemangku Pemerintah Medan, Pegawai-Pegawai Kanan dan pegawai-pegawai TDDB.
Eksesais dimulakan dengan demonstrasi taktikal yang memperlihatkan operasi gabungan melibatkan Kompeni Heliborne, Motorised dan Riverine, Platun Mertak, Platun Gerak Khas, Skuadron Kereta Perisai Peninjau, peserta Kursus Ketua Ronda, serta Wing No.1 Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei dalam memberikan bantuan tembakan Harassing Fire dan Fast Roping. Selesai demonstrasi, program diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil dan penutupan kursus termasuk penyampaian Anugerah Pelajar Terbaik Keseluruhan kepada Sarjan Jefri bin Ajak dari 2Bn TDDB. Kursus Ketua Ronda telah diadakan bermula 20 Oktober sehingga 14 Disember 2025 dibawah pengendalian Cawangan Latihan Peperangan Hutan, Sekolah Infantri TDDB. Pada tahun ini, seramai tujuh peserta telah mengikuti Kursus Ketua Ronda, dengan penyertaan dua anggota dari Tentera Darat Malaysia buat pertama kalinya.
Pelaksanaan eksesais tersebut mencerminkan usaha berterusan TDDB dalam membangunkan kecekapan taktikal, meningkatkan prestasi individu dan kolektif, serta mengukuhkan kerjasama antara unit. Eksesais ini adalah bertujuan untuk memastikan tahap kesiapsiagaan operasi dan kompetensi anggota dalam melaksanakan tanggungjawab pertahanan negara pada tahap yang tinggi ke arah mencapai Mission Ready Land Forces.
